As a NVIDIA Shareholder on one hand:
1. I am pissed that politicians have blocked this deal.
2. On the other hand, I am relieved that this nightmare is over.
NVIDIA has been beaten badly in January already and journalists always as a last instance came to this deal for more negative publicity.
Huang is not an id*ot.
I wonder what contingency does he have in place in order to address these morons in DC, London, Brussel and Beijing.
At this stage, I wonder if they develop a custom RISK V chip in house in order to compete with ARM…
NVIDIA could bring ARM to the next level but always trust the politicians to do the wrong thing…
ARM or RISC-V are imho the future for consumer computing devices due to “The Coming Efficiency-Drive” to modify a famous title of a past prediction!!
What you say seems right to me. But I think valuation of ARM/RISC-V will rise in the coming years. It will be interesting to see the future valuation as such.
