United Kingdom nurses have staged a second unprecedented strike amid an increasingly acrimonious fight with the government for better wages.
Up to 100,000 members of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are holding the latest one-day stoppage on Tuesday after walking out last Thursday for the first time in the trade union’s 106-year history.
They are demanding an inflation-busting pay increase to make up for years of real-terms salary cuts, but the government insists recession-hit Britain cannot afford anything above a 4-5 percent rise.

“Nurses are the heart of healthcare”❤️Shame on governments for not taking care of their nurses.Love&Solidarity to all the striking nurses from India🇮🇳Keep going…We are with you✨
What is inflation? It’s where things cost more. If nurses are to receive higher wages, it means that it will cost other workers more, thus driving inflation higher.
Is not Wisdom calling?
and prudence does not raise its voice?

Money isn’t there
Money is in Zelenskis bank account 😂😂😂😂😂😂
And Bojo too.
Uk media don’t care. They still focus on Russia and China news. 🤣🤣
One thing I don’t understand that why rishi sunak give 50 millions in aid to Ukraine but his country India oh sorry England struggling financially
Sunak works for his globalist masters, not the working British people
A very good point ! The fact that leaders want to give nations money away is staggering !
In India nurse salary is 3000 rupees
But doctor salary tooo much
What to do
Yh but prices in UK are 20 times higher
Government, “the money isn’t there.” Meanwhile, politicians are buying second and third homes on public servant salaries. 🤔🥱
Bitcoin is the future investing in it now is the wisest thing to do now especially with the current rise
Mr David muller has brought me out of the wrenches and to a better living through trading options, I encourage newbies to trade with him
@Bennett Clip Really y’all know him?, I even thought I’m the only one he has helped walk through the fears and falls of trading
Seeing alot of success stories, he must be honest and trustworthy for people to talk this good about him.
I can’t believe that I got victory with him. I was so sad after receiving the first pay knowing I invested so low with fear😓😫
The rich stays rich by spending like the poor and investing without stopping. Then the poor stays poor by spending like the rich yet not investing like the rich
I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
Crypto trading is the best investment anyone could get into. As it could make you rich in a blink of an eye.
They don’t deserve any pay increases.. they don’t do anything..let the robot do their job there would be no any backlogs.. now takes a full year just for simple MRI scan.
No not all Robots can replace a Nurses work.
The delay in MRI time can also result due to a lack of equipment.
A weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, making me to ponder on what are the best possible ways to hedge against inflation, and I’ve overheard people say inflation is a money-eater thus worried about my savings around $200k
@Donna CHAN I agree, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius! Not long ago amidst the pandemic crash in March 2020, I was really having inveesting nightmare prior touching base with a license portfolio-advisor. In a nutshell, i’ve accrued over $550k with the help of my advisor from an initial $120k investment thus far.
If we had a magic wand we would find out exactly what proportion of these outcomes were caused by actions that are repeatable, versus the role of random risk and luck that swayed those actions one way or the other. But we don’t have a magic wand
@Mary Ethan Awesome, what is the procedure with the inveestment adviser like?
@Christopher J. Pilot It’s a fairly simple process, my portfolio only reflects what she trades, not just some particular securities of my choice. *’Linda* *Meeks* *Beck’* has been amazing so far, she has influenced my portfolio a lot.
@Mary Ethan That’s fine, I curiously looked up the name and came across her webpage, her credentials/testimonials seem solid with positive reviews, I just left her a note. Thanks a lot
I always watch your videos, and I shared your video links with four friends of mine, I love how open minded you are about investing, I read an article of investors that made upto $500,000 within 2months from options, so please I’d really love more tips and clues on how to outperform the market and make such profit using options
NO, I’M NOT GIVING HIGHER PAY! INFLATION IS JUST STARTING! AND IT WILL GET MUCH WORSE THROUGHOUT 2023! 👍👍👍💯
19 percent pay rise is not reasonable? the situation and working environment for healthcare worker nowadays is totally different before COVID pandemic, they take a very high risk maybe anytime lost their life due to virus infection during work. who care about safety for them?*
Got so much time to protest. Yet want increase pay. Go back to work.
If they don’t no one listens
I think all of NHS including doctors should strike because NHS budget is always been cut for years
It doesn’t means capitalism isn’t contradictory to majority of working class or majority and this brings evil
How is it “contradictory”?
@Loch Ness Munster Nay more, in proportion as the use of machinery and division of labour increases, in the same proportion the burden of toil also increases, whether by prolongation of the working hours, by the increase of the work exacted in a given time or by increased speed of machinery, etc.
Communist manifesto
@TANUJ AADITYA Why would the burden of toil increase, with more machinery? Is it harder to use a digger, than a spade?
@Loch Ness Munster It is said in a way it becomes contradictory with majority of working force,it can cause unemployment, more longer work time
They are spending their life for the job in high risk environment, they deserve to have better pay..,,
Very good peoples. Don’t broke eni things but India Very bad protest
UK government is pushing for a two tier health system private for the wealthy and an impoverished NHS system for the working class people who are poor through extremely high taxes .
Thank you for actually covering this story…not just a headline.
UK should more donate at Ukraine war. Ukraine need more money & weapons.
*IT’S UNFAIR ON HOW THINGS HAVE TURNED UP TO BE DUE TO THE RECENT WORLD ECONOMIC CRISIS THINGS HAS BEEN SO DIFFICULT, THIS ISN’T GOOD IN THE SENSE THAT IT ENDS UP ADDICTING THE CIVILIANS FINANCIALLY IN DIFFERENT ANGLES OF LIFE. WE SEE COMPLAINS HERE AND THERE ON SOCIAL MEDIA FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT PARTS ALL ROUND THE WORLD*
Diversification of investment is really great idea for multiple streams of income.
@Friday Jackson That’s right even at retirement I have lots of investment with Mr John Crude i made $13,400, I invest in coins and property.
I can boldly tell everyone that he is the only crypto currency expert I can recommend to any body,
Profits return are real and instantly
I never believed in coin trading until my colleagues became so rich trading, immediately i gave Jonn cryde try, and ever since then i have been benefiting from the profit of his investment..
Honestly speaking, John Crude crypto trading signal is an excellent way to financial independence. I am new to crypto (less than a month) I have made through $6k and got my eyes on $13k, he is too awesome.
This is shameful for the UK, the nurses/NHS staff should get a decent pay deal, it will help them during the high rises in the cost of living/energy and will help grow the economy and bring inflation down. Let me tell you how? Say the nurses got a pay deal of 10% , which is £10 in every £100(not 3 or 4 % which is £3 or £4 pounds in every £100) then the nurses will get help in the high rises in energy/food prices/cost of living and the Government will get £3 straight away, out of the £10 pounds in taxes/NI straight away and by Vat on goods, council tax, and other taxes over the tax year, the economy will get a tax boost by taking at least 50% of the 10% (£10)pay deal and over time slowly bring down inflation. P. S. I’m old enough to remember Thatcher getting in in 1979,she sorted out all the public pay deals/demand in her first year with a deal, her gripe were with the coal mining Union, Scargill and getting cheaper coal/cheaper energy from abroad. I bet Rishi Sunak and the Cons Cabinet are all got private health care and leaving the UK population including Tory voters without decent health care; it seems UK taxes are only for Tory’s Donars like Lady Sue Mone getting £29 million of tax payers funding in a tax offshore account, not making taxes for the UK economy. .
Seriously
Save the nurses or keep the war in Ukraine going ?
Rishe Sunak: Iam going to go and talk to zalansky about it.
The millionaires in govt keep on telling us the money isn’t there for nurses yet it was very much there during covid when they looted the public purse for dodgy crony covid contracts, not to mention the £450 bn of printed money that’s ended up in the bank accounts of the rich! They continue to prop up fossil fuels and rail companies with subsidies and tax breaks, all at our expense, and whenever there is instability in the financial markets it’s always poor and ordinary people that take the hit, never the rich! In the UK it’s socialism for the rich and free market discipline for the rest of us – well, they can sod that for a lark: I stand with the nurses!
I completely agree with them the government has screwed us civil servants for over 12 years.
I e had to buy an diesel motorhome heater to heat just one room in our home.
Government are lieing constantly about not having the money they’ve just got hundreds on million in windfall taxes from the big 6 energy suppliers
Unreasonable demand by nurse’s, and if health trust continue to use bank nurse’s to fill shortages, then the public will end up with the situation we have in dentistry.
We need to pay new nurse’s properly whilst they are training and not just a grant. The biggest problem is the private run care industry, this should be run by the NHS and all staff paid the same as workers in the hospitals. If nurse’s think there play and conditions are bad , they couldn’t hold a light to this group of workers. Doing this would free up beds and cut down on hold ups for ambulance drivers at A&E.
