Venezuelan opposition figure Juan Guaido has condemned a decision to dissolve his interim government, calling it a ‘leap into the void.’
Nearly 50 countries recognised Guaido as the legitimate leader after disputed elections four years ago.
But opposition parties say he has failed to oust President Nicolas Maduro.

Maduro won a fair and internationally monitored election. Just because the opposition boycotted doesn’t mean that the election was fraudulent. These are just facts. Maduro is president until the next election, like it or not.
