The people of Britain have less than 15 hours left as citizens of the European Union.
Its 47-year membership of the bloc officially ends Friday night, at 23:00 GMT.
It will have until the end of the year to reach a deal on their future relationship.
Businesses in Europe are trying to ensure the United Kingdom does not run out of food.

The EU exists only in a political term its not an actual country.
No company sells to the ‘EU’ They sell their products to companies in countries that are in the EU. If the countries that make up the EU have rotten or poor economies (which most are) then foreign investors are less likely to be interested.
Greece, Italy, Spain and France all have high unemployment and low or negative growth, and high taxes.
Jaguar makes most of its money in China which is a GIGANTIC market, and they haven’t even scratched the surface yet.
There is a WHOLE WORLD out there which is doing well. We are dumping a declining market for a growth one.
Just so you know, the UK has been the biggest European investor in China for several years now.
Britain’s biggest inward investor is Japan and America (not anyone in the EU)

Kevin Wellwrought well it’s not easy as that. First of the right of residence isn’t equal in rights to Eu citizenship, secondly it’s always bound to your spouse. So if your spouse works in Germany you won’t get a residence in Spain for your retirement and maybe not even the next town.

If you are married to a German and your children were born in Germany and you have certificate of residence you can live in Germany for ever and besides you can apply for your German passport after some years. The same applies in any other EU country. If you do not meet the above conditions then you must pack up and be ready to be deported to UK.

The only thing that the citizens of the remaining EU countries lose with brexit is the automatic right to live and work in the UK. While that’s a big loss, especially for those already here or who would have otherwise wanted to live here, we UK citizens will lose a lot more as we are losing the right to live and work in many more countries.

Krp Krp wrong. If you are a citizen of a member country of the EU you likely have a legal EU citizenship with all it accompanying rights. Secondly even though there is no EU passports, passports of most member states share a common format …if you aren’t a holder of such passport you are likely not recognized as a citizen of the EU when entering …what also means you do not share the same rights, when it comes to traveling or working abroad.
