We have relatives in Guang Zhou in southern China. My dad’s old classmates are literally dying on a daily basis and the official death count is still next to nothing. The hospital gave one of the relatives 3 days to store the body in their fridge since all the crematoriums are backed up. After that, they have to figure it out on their own till there’s an opening to cremate. The official govt news channels are all rosy on covid and they got the nerve to criticize other nations for screening Chinese oversea travelers.
