A police affidavit detailed how the suspect is linked to the fatal stabbings of four University of Idaho students. Bryan Christopher Kohberger’s DNA was found on a leather knife sheath next to one of the victims.

@Reckklessgamerr The account got deleted. Either by Bryan or whoever did to for him only hours after he was arrested
@Reckklessgamerr I actually cannot find the source. Seems like it is not on the web which makes me wonder whether the video I watched had it removed. Therefore, I will delete my comment because idk if it is accurate
Wow that sounds like pretty thin evidence
@DMW If there is no DNA evidence in the car this is going to fall apart. He had just moved there.. was living there just two weeks before this happened. And for somebody to leave a knife sheath? With DNA on it? Coroner said there were huge gashes and the victims died quickly no chance of survival.. they were cut extremely deep. There was blood all over the place.. if there’s no blood in the car this is going to be a weak case.
@Dee Men the roommates didn’t call police until noon the next day after this scary intruder was there and even had friends come over first because ‘the other 4 were unresponsive’ Very strange – the dead roommates were covered in blood with blood everywhere in bedrooms. The adult human body contains 5 liters of blood – picture two 2 L bottles of soda and half of another. If you loose 40% of your blood supply you’re dead. So that’s more than a single 2 L bottle of spilled blood per roommate. A lot of blood!
Trolling
😂 Okay…I have zero interest in killing anyone ever, but if anyone ever found my blood on a knife sheath near a murdered person in a house that I never should have been in- I’m sorry, but for some reason I evidently killed someone.
Lucky for me and everyone else this is never going to happen.
Clearly you didn’t read the 19-page paper if you think this is “thin” evidence
So his car was in the area and his DNA was on a knife sheeth …. I mean, with all that blood at the scene and 4 victims they should be holding more evidence than this… It seems lika a kinda weak case.
@Jackson Drake What about DNA at the scene? That trumps DNA anywhere else.
@Kimbo K Agree.. what if they don’t find any blood DNA evidence in the car that they claim was used to escape the crime scene? When there was loads of blood everywhere. They do need a strong DNA connection to make a case so tying him directly to the murder scene is imperative.. but I have this weird feeling about it all. If there’s no blood DNA in that car this case could fall apart.
@Jackson Drake He didn’t clean up and had to be loaded in blood and get it everywhere in his car.
We the public don’t know what all police have, now do we?
@Jazzie Z he did a deep clean of his car when he got to Pennsylvania.. so who knows if they will find much DNA? The FBI was onto him 4 days before his actual arrest… he was seen wearing surgical gloves and throwing away bags of trash in different neighbors garbage cans .. 😣
They got him? Strong case.
are you going to post that a few more times?
Lol
Strong case. The got the right guy.
@Jim Rice the dna is a 99.9% match to kohberger and he is a vegan so no need for a hunting knife
@Simplifity All of this evidence can easily be explained away by a good defense attorney…
@Jim Ricehe is 90 percent guilty
More like 99.99 percent guilty due to his dna
@Jim Rice Individually? Yes. All of these pieces of evidence together? No. Not a chance.
They are already going in with a lot of evidence not to mention he’s using a public defender, he knows he’s going to prison for the rest of his life.
Getting a defense attorney is not a sign of guilt, that’s just common sense that anyone would do if accused of a crime whether innocent or guilty. But yeah, the evidence strongly suggests that he’s the culprit in this crime.
There’s a difference between a public defender and a private lawyer.
@DanFed Music a huge difference. Most don’t care about the ppl they represent unless it could get their name out there for bigger and better things. Public defenders are deplorable in my experience.
Public defenders are not awful… he’s going to have one of the best in that area. He will have a competent defense
@flyingchimp12 they work with the prosecution on most cases. This is a high profile case that should garner a lot of fame. The only reason I see for fairness I’ve never seen before. You get a PD you are guilty in most all other cases unless you’re a snitch too. Snitches don’t usually need any more help than what they already get but I imagine some times they do.
He’s done, put a fork in him.
Bro can cell pings be considered evidence?! Sounds like private citizen infringement even if some provider coffers up the data. & blood / trash still seem open ended. Even if it’s him everything I’ve heard he can faux his way out.
@Ty Williams it wasn’t the Easter Bunny.
Ah, no. That’s not how it works.
@Bob Sink he did. Read the unsealed warrant. He turned off his phone for the three hours around the murder. He just didnt bank on them tracing his phone to that location on other nights when he stalked them
@Matt Grimmett he knew to switch off his cell during the murder but not before and after? A guy know cloud forensics do not beware of surveillance cameras? He killed 4 persons but he spare the fifth as an eye witness? Is his DNA blood? That part I truly didn’t get
@andro88 he is an expert of cloud forensics, that clearly show he knows this couldn’t just about that night as data are stored for a very long period of time.
knife sheath DNA is his, found at the scene
his car being there
Cellphone confirmed close by 12 times prior to the murders
the DNA 🧬 is the closest to proving he absolutely was there
Cellphone pinging, car sighting (especially without an actual license plate number) is watery circumstantial
If they can do more with the DNA 🧬 material work it up etc they might get a conviction
The rest not really unfortunately because it does seem he likely did it
I think that the motive is revenge, revenge on party college girls/guys because he got bullied by other girls in his high school history. His troubled past probably caused him to be a sociopath, narcissist or whatever personality disorder he might have or maybe there was already and underlying mental health issue. I truly think it was a calculated attack and revenge, maybe he waited for years to find the perfect opportunity. A guy like this should never ever see freedom again. He is dangerous. He might appear calm, but most psychopaths appear calm while having very disturbing thoughts
I guess he is about to be proven guilty.
I’m so glad they got that guy.
Dana Griffin, I see a future award winner for her investigative journalism and perhaps even a leading anchor. You are doing a great job. Keep up the excellent work from Seoul, Korea!
ok, cornball, she’s not that good
We all know that NBC has been suppressing bidens open border policy, but watch how they spin a story when their beloved president goes there. This will be the first story they have done on this inhumane failed policy in months. Hows that for news source?
Not very smart leaving knife sheath with DNA and cell phone pings. Pretty elementary stuff in terms of tracking you down by FBI standards.
Phone pings an come from Miles and miles away and go to closest tower..that one won’t fly so much
@Gina Just-me you can admit you don’t know how phone pings work
He wanted to get caught. Another sociopath wanting his fifteen min of fame. He’ll pretend to fight the charges, for his family’s sake, but really, so much DNA, he def wanted caught.
Narcissistic Psychopath wants to get caught for the notoriety.
If he had not left the knife sheath, it would have not been possible to find him or convict him!
Nope they would have found him his car being a white Elantra near the scene and matching the description the witness gave plus the cell phone pings would have made him a suspect even without dna he should not have used his car that would give him more possible doubt
Eh, they would still have all the phone and car evidence but who knows if it would be enough. I’m pretty sure they found him via the car before the did the DNA for the sheath.
@Deepak Hiremath go read the affidavit… they did not find him from dna they initially found him from matching the car on video with all the ones registered nearby the scene
@flyingchimp12 that’s the point, without DNA it wouldn’t have been enough to convict him mostly.
I think they could still get a conviction without dna sure it would be harder but not impossible
who brings a knife sheath.. Forgets that but keeps the knife..come on, something is up here.. Something isn’t right..
@Gina Just-me Those are some oddities, I agree. I guess we will find out all the details as a trial unfolds.
Probably someone that does not want to be cut by his own knife. Then lost it in the battle and didn’t have time to look for it. His car must be loaded with blood.
@Jazzie Z If he didn’t want to get cut he did a bad job at it. The traffic footage from his pullovers show his right wrist has a huge gash that’s still scabbing over. Indicating that the wound was very recent, and could only of come from a sharp edge. Or perhaps a blade from a knife.
Maybe one of the victims tried to fight back and managed to slash him before being killed.
@Sapphire Star they’ve debunked that actually
@Jazzie Z I mean luminol when sprayed will show blood so if he did it there will be blood in that car somewhere..
The good ol’ dna from the garbage trick😁 mostly old timers will get that reference👍
Maybe someone is trying to frame him…
@Joe Smith father was in Pennsylvania
Good thing he …”dropped out” … of his doctoral program. Clearly didn’t learn much and apparently wasn’t good at anything other than being the ultimate mansplainer and setting acceptance of people who chose to be vegan back possibly forever.
This why the Police don’t start releasing evidence or a suspects name until after an arrest. Some people were demanding that the Police tell them more about the case. DNA research doesn’t happen over night. You have to give Investigators time to Identify, and build a case before any Information can be released.
That true.
In a country (dont want to mention the name), police said her boyfriend was cleared, her coworker was cleared. Then the real crimimal ran to neighbor country.
So much for the Tarot card Lady!
The affidavit blew me away, that poor girl didn’t know if it was a prank or if she should be scared, I feel so bad for her. She couldn’t have saved them, he would have killed her if she walked in on him, she is so lucky to be alive
Prayers for them and the families and everyone connected to this case, except the killer and anyone else that helped him after. No sympathy for evil
He was already done with the deed when he passed her and walked out the back door.
Did you all think that maybe he was banging one of the four girls and maybe the girl who I witnessed him he was also banging because they all work together at a vegan restaurant maybe she found out he was banging the other chicks stab the girl who was sleeping with him and the other three girls I witnessed that so she had to stab them to out of a fit of rage. And her story doesn’t sound right
Go ask all the people that were arm chair lawyers and detectives? If I got accused for something like this and didn’t do it I would be suing everyone for defamation!
Looks like fbi was already on to him and he was stopped by police because the fbi had asked police to do so.
Not true. The car was seen at the scene.
@Kimbo K Yes you are right I will withdraw my remark. I just heard the fbi directed the police to stop him enroute to PA. He was already a suspect.
Does anyone really give a f about this msm news headline?
He’s innocent 👨🏻⚖🤷🏻♂️
@Jhonny Bravo
Bond him out & let him stay with you & your Family!
We only hear things from the news anchors and reporters, and they all talk about incident in a very reluctant manner. Everything sounds so fake. Just because the reporter says there’s evidence doesn’t necessarily mean there actually is. I feel like they popped this random guy out of nowhere and are about to frame him because they got stuck, couldn’t solve the case and had to make something up before it went cold.
That makes no sense
@Leo Garcia Maybe. I don’t know how laws in the US work so I can’t say for sure. I’m Turkish and in Turkey, this scenario is more likely to become reality.
THE MURDER WEAPON: The knife is very common, issued to most infantry men. You can see it’s deadliness in a scene in the film Hold the Dark here– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9IRDI8a1NQ
Strange he left the sheath as it’s generally attached to the belt.
I wonder if he had other victims prior to these people….
@TAM Yeah, we are all wondering about prior victims. Look online and seems like multiple people killed in Washington and Georgia and Idaho with same MO.
Luckily he’s white and we don’t have the blacks saying he’s innocent like they did with O. J., hang the worthless asswipe !
So why did they say the cops weren’t called until like noon that day I’m sure they were called immediately I don’t get it
They were not called, the girl closed her door after seeing him and went back to bed as if nothing happened. The murders were already done and he walked out the sliding door.
Great detective/FBI/ police work in catching this guy! I always find it interesting how it is done.
Don’t forget the MAGA Trump fans want to “defund” the FBI.
Raskolnikov’s PhD dissertation will be rejected. #humanscum
DNA on a knife sheath is easily explained away by a good defense attorney…
The prosecution should pick a jury of steak, ribs, bacon and pork chop loving people, let them hand this vegan a death sentence
His dad should be charged with assecory
Dumpster diving. It’s beautiful. They say men don’t cry but I’m crying right now. Good ole fashioned detective work.
I picked a song for everyone who worked on this case. https://youtu.be/cGufy1PAeTU it’s the master sword.
now show us what else you can do!
Good work! I don’t know anything. Its been a while since I could say I’m so proud of you all.
They are with honor. I know this isn’t much but it’s all I can send. https://youtu.be/cGufy1PAeTU
He probably knows he’s a psychopath, odd and is very depressed. Maybe he didn’t care if he got caught
I can just imagine someone snapping and unsnapping a knife sheath nervously before doing an act of violence. You then get sweat, skin cells etc on the snap area of the sheath. That DNA data base thing. Wow. I can think of at least 2 commercial data bases that have my DNA. This is probably true of most people in this country. Now law enforcement can tap into those types of data bases.
Truly some weird, and evil people in this world. Horrible and very sad news…
There’s no sheath and no DNA 😂
