Because since the russian invasion to Ukraine in 2014 , they didn’t search for any alternatives for russian gas and they just made themselves more addicted to the resources of that country. Ukraine is not worse it? What a nice victim shaming) Ukraine will not be the last in the list of the countries what can be damaged because of the russia. If the world will not stop them now, then everything will have just a domino effect. And then, Europe will have much more problems. You can’t make yourself addicted to someone, you must build a partnership with different countries to avoid this kind of situations.

How on earth does anyone survive on 368 euros a month, that is impossible, do pensioners get free housing or something? Even in the poorest areas of the U.S a person would need at least 1500$ a month to barely survive, and Germans pay over 18% of their gross income for this, that is unbelievable, and I thought American Social Security was a rip off. I guess its a bargain compared to what the average German gets.

@Sunny Sunshine -but it would depend on whether retiree has own home or not right besides rent 800 euros should be enough right per person assuming both are working and also getting free medical assistance etc so that means some having to pay rent need to get 1500 euros per month per person, i think 1500 euros per month per person would be fine so if 2 people then household pension of 3000 euros per month and medical to be 100% free including care i think then people would not be sad they would be lively and happy and even think good about the country and govt
