Communities along the Mississippi River are experiencing major flooding, with the water expected to keep rising until Monday in some areas. In the area I’m in still severely dry and huge fire hazard…some towns are now restricting water…we have been drinking and cooking for many years sewer water….the underground water is almost gone will not last even 8 more years….and people don’t believe in climate change….it’s real…just ask the people going thru all these crazy weather ….it was so hot day and night we have hundreds of thousands of cattle dropping dead…we are having huge dust storms that actually look like night during the day….shingles curled and ripped off, wood split on homes etc and the paint and clear coat peeled off the vehicles just to mention a few little tid bits…

In our time frame, the weather cannot be considered our “friend”, but more of an “enemy”, with it raining hail and torrential rain that damages property, causing flooding as the Mississippi river is now experiencing. But what if the weather could be tamed permanently, bringing “wonderful weather” and NOT disasters ?
If I may, allow me to give an example of where the weather is tamed. It is found in the Bible at Mark 4, in which Jesus and some of his disciples are crossing the Sea of Galilee in the evening, and Jesus goes to sleep on the stern of the boat.
Shortly after leaving Capernaum, a coastal city on the northern part of the Sea of Galilee, and heading towards to other side on the southeastern coast of the Sea of Galilee, they encounter a severe storm that is about to sink the boat.
Peter frantically wakes up Jesus (though being an experienced fisherman and having been through several storms) and tells him that they are about to perish, whereby Jesus calmly gets up from his nap and says to the storm: “Hush ! Be quiet !”, so that instantly the strong wind is abated and a great calm sets in.(Mark 4:35-39)
At that moment, the account says that Jesus disciples were astounded, saying: “Who really is this ? Even the wind and the sea obey him”.(Mark 4:41) Can any politician, any meteorologist, any wealthy individual do what Jesus did ? No.
Jesus, as king of a heavenly government called God’s Kingdom, will use his “God-given” (or from God, whose name is Jehovah, see Isa 12:2, KJV) power to tame the weather starting with his upcoming Millennial reign that will last forever.(Rev 20:4-6) And he will do much more than this for the Kingdom’s earthly subjects, including removing sin that leads to death.(see Ps 37:10, 11, 29; Prov 2:21, 22; Isa 25:6-8; Rev 21:3-5)
