AIRBUS THE BEST !
yesssssssssssss
I usually prefer aircraft that don’t crash compared to ones like 737 Max that consistently crash.
@TJ Lol for corporate interests, I see you’ve read enough news to be caught up on the topic. But yes, I’m stanning for Boeing! Glad you’re not a pilot.
@Jack you don’t have valid argument so just shut up Boeing fan boy luckily I’m in Asia where the a320 neo dominates the flight
@ST0NK Valid argument? Boeing has a larger market in Asia than Airbus lol. Rekt.
@Jack are u dreaming?
@ST0NK I’m not but you’re not in reality that’s for sure!
Boeing is in real trouble. Even the major American airlines have started to operate Airbuses years ago and they have increased their orders… the B747-8 is a total flop in the passenger field, the B787 needed some time to recover from the bad start, now the 737Max total crisis, there are engine issues with the new 777X plus Airbus will hit them – especially in the American commute market – with the new A220 with Bombardier. It will be interesting to watch how Boeing will be able to recover. Will they ever be able to?!
Jeff Webb Right, they’ve been around for 102 years, they’ll be fine.
Yes they will, If if not for the European tax payers, the a380 would have bankrupt Airbus.
Krisztina Horvath, not with the administration they’re carrying at the moment! However, I have the suspicion that lot will be relegated to licking stamps in the mail-room, to make way for the new; let’s hope so!
@Edward George than it doesn’t look good because the current vultures in leadership are going nowhere other than back to their games.
@Jack oh come on boeing is in huge trouble accept it theyve lost millions of dollars and airlines even in the united states are shifting to airbus. No offense but why are you on boeings side? airbus is GREAT! The a380 was just a minor mistake in profit demands, no deaths, no crashes, and no safety controversy. Jesus, compare it to the max, 747, 767, etc.
Let’s be honest, Boeing used to build really good airplanes, but alas, they have become greedy and have cut safety for making money. What happened in the last few month show how Boeing still has not learned that safety is important. They should scrap the 737 max, replace it with the 737 NG or develop a new, safe plane. Airbus should also learn the lessons Boeing is going through. Safety is priority all the time, all the time!!!
Fouad Habbouche They still do
Shapiro such a bad reporter
Lol
BOEING > AIRBUS. I’m not a joystick kind of guy.
You prefer the machine to fly itself?
For an American airline, Delta, to chose to fly a foreign made plane instead of a domestic one, it would mean that the Airbus would have to be better than the Boeing.
@super six airbus
Airbus planes are made in Alabama though, so It supports American jobs
@Tristan Skipworth Show me your proof, sources and info proving that. 747 actually made profits, A380 bleeds money and will never even break even. 777 made huge profits due to its superior operating economics to the point that it literally KILLED the A340. So again, show me your information.
Delta is pissed off at Boeing because Boeing used Delta over the Airbus Bombardier deal, that’s why Delta is now buying Airbuses. It’s because the relationship between them is really bad right now.
@super six I mean when airbus was new no us airline till eastern dint bougth its first model the a300 as they dint trust and said it will give bad publicity or something so I get where his coming from
Is this guy drrrrrrrrrrrrr uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu nnnnnnnnnn kkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Who the hell is Yahoo finance they cant even hear each other.
Airbus 😍
Airbuses has had crashes too due to independent joysticks
West Caribbean 708 and Colgan Air both crashed under similar circumstances as AF447 and they were conventional yoke equipped aircraft
Joysticks are for games , pilots use flightsticks
Fly by wire was first introduced into military fighter jets long before airbus started using that technology on commercial aircrafts.
@Mickyle Newman The first production aircraft that used (analog) FBW and saw long term use was the Concorde the F-16 was the first to use FBW to exploit intentionally unstable aerodynamics – Beginning with an analog system and later switching to digital.
The A320 was the first airliner to use digital FBW
Lack of CRM was the root problem
Deltas tickets are high
but worth the cost because the experiences is top notch.
I’d pay 50-100$ more to avoid American… Delta is better in every single way
Guess it must of been a gut instinct. Wise choice and paid off. But eventually they will buy Boeing when Boeing get their act together.
I don’t think it was a gut decision. It’s key that he said they chose the A321neo, not the 320. If an airline is looking at an A320neo or 737 Max-8, their performance is VERY similar but the Boeing is a bit cheaper and rated to a longer fatigue service life. But if an airline is comparing the A321neo or 737 Max-10, the Airbus significantly outperforms the Boeing and is the obvious choice. Operators of low capacity on shorter, more frequent routes tend to skew towards the 737, operators of larger capacity on longer range hauls favor the 320 family (obviously there’s lots of overlap there).
With Delta being an A321 customer, what they were looking for was something as close to a 757 as they could get, and the A321 owns that part of the market right now. Boeing were going to develop a new “797” to fill in that middle market that the 737 can’t cover, but unfortunately that seems to have been put on hold.
Tell this CEO to give everybody leg room.. He talks like a politician and looks like one… I bet Airbus gave him 2 free planes for the sale..
H B 😂😂😂😂
14,000 hours, that’s crossing Mars XD
Airbus is soo much better economically I can’t see them ordering the 737Max yet wait til the Lease on their Boeing 717 expires then Ed Bastian will negotiate then
The 737 Max and A320neo are VERY close on economy. The Airbus skews a bit bigger and more expensive, so it performs better in the larger (A321) models. The 737 is cheaper and has a longer rated service life, so it comes out cheaper if you’re going to buy a lot of them and do frequent cycles. In the rest of the lineup, the two trade blows on efficiency. The 787 is much more economical than the A330neo. The A350 is more economical than 777X. The 747-8 is actually more economical than the A380, but both of those hippos are gone now. Where Airbus really dominates is with the A220 and A321XLR, both of which Boeing has no answer for at all.
no one would know in less than 1 year, share price only retains 30% value….. still they going Airbus is right choice…
The ceo is wise. Great call
great decision Ed
CEO knows best
The A321 neo route proved to be a wise decision.
This creep now wants any new employees to get the chemical concoction known commonly as the vax which is experimental, not tested for long term injuries, the same conglomerates who have their liability for damages caused removed and transferred to the taxpayer or the receiver of the chemical in the US, all in defiance my bodily integrity principle.
Nasty piece of fascism at play.
Will never fly delta again.
TO DELTA’S CEO, THOUGH YOUR UTMOST CHOICE IS THIS A350 SERIES, BOEING 787’S MY UTMOST FAVORITE!!
Boeing is better, fight me.
