A half-century after their deaths, Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X remain two of the world’s most revered political activists.
They were both respected leaders of the American Civil Rights movement, struggling for racial equality and freedom. But at the start of the 1960s, the media were constructing a conflict that stirred the civil rights debate: Malcolm X versus Reverend Martin Luther King.
While King advocated non-violent direct action and passive resistance to achieve equal civil rights, Malcolm X was the spokesman for the Nation of Islam (NOI), the black Muslim movement which violently rejected white America and its Christian values, and preached the supremacy of blacks over whites.

Malcolm X speaks the truth !
Olan Johnson, Jr.
king was puppet
Don’t call King a puppet… I’m gonna leave it at that.
King was a puppet.
Smile2Joy don’t disrespect king, he went by the bible
They still killed King so it juzt shows what America Is!
satan worshippers and demons.
One person killed one person and you have the authority to deduce from that the entirety of america is bad?
Marshall Samford i mean America basically let that happen with no retaliation
@Ky yes because nobody was upset when Martin Luther king died?
“Let that happen”
How so? What institutions? Did the banks give money to people to shoot mlk? Did the federal govt subsidize the killing of MLK? Did the churches gather to kill mlk? Theres a lot you need to say to say such a bold statement so casually as you just did.
Marshall Samford yeah it was literally a white man that shot which he sworn to be united , the blacks and whites
The comment Malcolm X made was when He was with The NOI … and The Honourable Elijah Mohammed … After He went to Mecca that’s when He saw the real truth about Islam and humanity .
BOTH HEROS ! GIANTS !
Here we are 60 years later and Malcolm X is proven right. Even though the message of nonviolence by M L K seemed right but what Malcolm X propose was a new way of thinking of black Liberation via black co-operation.
non violence is never practical only in theory
@Maxmud Xareed Tell this to Gandhiji.
@Abu Abdu Gandhi was never successful in any of his movements. So yeah non violence isn’t any solution
To be fair, MLK was just beginning to radicalize himself, he started talking about Vietnam and poverty, and one should remember that his stands on non-violence resistance was not always what it was when he die. Malcolm X on the other hand, was beginning to temper his stands. I’m curious as to how history would have been had they both live.
@ Ann Noire No dear, that’s the reality. MLK opened the door to integration and the practice of appeasing whites, who never paid for their atrocious actions in the US or the world. That was his agenda and he did not recognize it’s horror until the end. That’s where the “burning hose” quote comes from, MLK. Read the book Black Labor, white Wealth by Claud Anderson to gain more understanding and then study what the US government did after integration laws were passed.
Malcolm X did not love white people when he died? He was poisoned in Egypt before he went to Mecca. Multiple attempts on his life before he died. But the media wants you to think he went to Mecca and just loved whitey all of a sudden.
Girl please, keep your MLKs, his message forgiveness, and appealing to white supremacy. And that’s what I said MLK did not realize he led the community into a burning house until the end, in other words he didn’t realize he was wrong until it was too late. After he served his purpose for white supremacy they shot him. Malcolm X was assassinated because he was a true threat to white supremacy, just like the Black Panthers. No Dr. Anderson isn’t the end all but he is a good start and so is looking at these so called Black leaders and holding them accountable for not being pro Black.
@Smile2Joy Malcolm X was assassinated by other NOI Members you dimwitted fool.
Judah P. Benjamin no white people had him assassinated through the NOI fool
Malcolm X, so brave, honest&handsome! Rest in Peace hero 💕
Wtf?
Definitely not mlk was better
What was the purpose of this?
To help all of us with our school projects about civil rights in America.
Qatar should focus on its’ own problems instead of trying to start a race war in mine.
Adrian Broadnax exactly..trying to depict Malcolm and MLK as enemies lol..Al jazeera is all about sensationslism and propaganda.
No one is starting anything. This cut down of our full-length film is solely focused on one point: What X thought of MLK’s ‘non-violent movement,’ because it’s an interesting angle. Obviously, you cannot cover the entire story of these two epic figures in 1.5 min social video.
Al Jazeera English Malcolm was not pro-violence either…He just had a stronger stance against racism and injustice and thought that there should be a counter action against violence which is fair enough. Still it doesn’t make it a Malcolm vs MLK situation here, since they fought for the same cause. Malcolm’s approach personally makes more sense to me though.
@ Al Jazeera English You do read the comments! Awesome!!!! Can you please cover the DNC lawsuit and the murders surrounding it: Beranton J. Whisenant Jr. a prosecutor for the FBI, Klaus Eberwein, and many others.
@Dawud Njoroge
So the White Man told you God is a White Man & you believed him?
King was more influential in other words he wanted Unity among everybody including The white man. Malcom X wanted to exclude Whites of the civil rights movement.
No he didn’t he just knew nothing was gained without using some force.
@ugaas wiilhoog Yorky wants to unite with thieves, rapists, liars, and murderers instead of holding them accountable. Yorky is a white supremacist.
That is not true of Malcolm X after his hajj to Mecca. He wanted unity too. You may have some research to do. Malcolm X became about human rights, was willing to have anybody fight with him for the cause of ending oppression (regardless of skin color or nationality), and even became open to integration. He made it a global issue instead of a civil rights issue. He was also trying to get the United States indicted at the United Nations for its human rights violations against nonwhites. Malcolm X saw people as human beings and believed in Brotherhood. He only excluded white people from his Organization of Afro-American Unity because he believed blacks should first have unity among each other and figure out the best solution before they can have whites in the organization itself. However, he urged whites to help the organization in other ways and to help change the racist mindset of other whites.
They’re both heroes.
Why didn’t you include Malcolm’s views after Hajj? ☹️
Obviously they will potray the Muslim badly
Exactly! Those were his views at the time he passed and what he desired for America
@Theresa Mahfouz But Malcolm still talked the same because the white man in America was the same even though he wanted everybody to get alone Malcolm still told black people to fight back The Ballot or The Bullet speech backs that up Malcolm views was still the same because when he returned he knew that whites in America was still racist but Martin and Malcolm did start understanding each other that’s why Martin Luther king was killed in Memphis TN because he started telling black people to fight just like Malcolm
@Kevin Wolfe yes this is true
@IAMWEIRD He wasn’t Muslim until his Hajj. Before that he was part of the Nation of Islam. Which is a black nationalists hate group according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. I’ve watched many Muslim videos where they don’t claim nor accept the NOI nor their offshoots.
Rev. Martin Luther King Jr being the sheep and Malcolm X being a goat. Pride walks before shame & defeat. Humility and Love give Life.
Malcolm X the true hero!!! And then we have MLK, he didn’t realize he sold us out and led us into a burning house until it was too late. Smh. Preaching forgiving before repentance.
Do you believe is segregation?
Reminds me of Epic Rap Battle of History: MLK vs Ghandi.
Hello guy !! Omfg coverage It’s pretty phenomenal% electrical
I’m more Malcolm than Martin
@KibyNykraft The way you see malcolm is how the whiteman has potrayed to the world and its not the truth
@Kxng Drake Tell me how an ethnosate like that would work thats always theorised because societies dont work like that the only saving grace for me was when MX converted to Islam and resented much of what he said i respect him in that time of his life but his theories that are perpetauted today are of a reactionary histericle nature
@Kxng Drake The grassroots who are willing to use violence against cars, shops and literally try to kill officials are the same types of people who, once or if in charge as leaders, will use violence against the other/later grassroots.
And we saw that loads of times throughout history.
The soviet bolsheviks, the german and austrian nazis, the islamic priesthoods and their guerillas and terrorists etc.
Anarchists going berserk in the streets are the same people in personality as the police losing head against unarmed civilians in America.
However ,this is also a new form of political strategy driven forward by certain desperate blocks in politics.
It has been proved numerous times in Europe that protest leaders and aggressors are paid and)or encouraged by the establishment Right and the establishment Left .
By creating riots ,there is the hope to make the impression that the state and current governments have no control.
Which in turn favors young people to seek out support to the establishment opponent block.
But where also the governments later can use this against the people as a whole, problem – reaction -“solution”.
“We now need to protect the citizens against these rebels” (ready to sign curfew-type of laws , ban social medias etc)
Iam more with Martin
Malcom wanted to create a separation and create an afro American state
MLK said believed in equality that whites and Black could one day live as equals and he used peaceful protest to show how violent the system was and thus gaining more support the March on Washington did more than Malcolm did .
And in the last 100 years peaceful revolution like MLK had a 53% success rate as compared to violent ones who only have 23% success
100% Malcolm, 0% Martin
Brother minister all day everyday. Malcolm X represents the fire that never burns out. He’s much more influential now than then. RIP our black shining Prince.
Malcolm X after pilgrimage to Mecca is not Malcolm X before going to Mecca. He changed his views on white people. Malcolm X was such an hosnest man that when he saw the truth he left what he preached in his previous years and adopted the truth without caring about what other people might think. Now that’s a true leader.
plung3r lol he did not changes his views on whites. He broadened philosophically to a more global approach(i.e. Pan Africanism)
_MARTIN LUTHER KING JUNIOR WAS AN AGENT OF CONTROLLED OPPOSITION, WHETHER HE HIMSELF WAS AWARE OF IT, OR WILLING, IS IRRELEVANT._
Y’Allah bless Malcolm and Muhammad Ali, grant them their deserved standing in Jannah for their service to humanity. Ameen
“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”- Qu’ran 8:12
“Then, when the sacred months have passed,
slay the idolaters wherever ye find them,
and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.
But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free.
Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful”- Qu’ran 9:5
Judah P. Benjamin
*Yawn*
Another person who cherry picks Quran scriptures and tells the people “Look! Islam is violence” without actually having studied the religion or its history *Sigh*
And the both got shot down!
And went out legends and heros.
Malcom X=Regressive
Malcom X wanted segregation
Separation
True, separation, and he was right.
In response to America wanting to completely separate from Blacks.
Wrong… Separation
Malcolm X never wanted segregation. He made this clear several times. By the end of his life, Malcolm X didn’t want separation either. For those interested, read his interview with Pierre Berton from January 19, 1965 in which he says he no longer wants a separate black state and is open to integration.
Martin Luther is King
Martin Luther King Jr’s approach made more sense because it would have public opinion in the favor of the black community, and in a country where representatives are elected, having the majority of the public sympathize with you holds the power for change. If the black community fought the police then it wouldn’t be good for anyone.
Malcolm X is fighting the good fight, but at the end of the day you need a strategy that works.
The white race is absolutely disagreeable to get along with in peace.they have never treated anyone with human dignity.only solution is to fight them and defend your self against this wild beast.
KILER SHAKA ZULU you’ll lose, because that’s how it always end for those who oppose them, the only ones who can oppose them is them, Darkness can not overcome the light but light can overcome the light
KILER SHAKA ZULU Your a racist love. You can sit her and say what you want just admit your a racist. I could say black people only hurt people and kill but would that be fair. NO.
Well you guys gotta invent the wheel over there in Africa first.
Right on to that! No one ever got along with the devil
@BroKhalidMuhammad
Shut Up You Fool°°°°!
They had different approaches to the problems that still plague us. This video points out one of the bigger problems is lack of a unified front to deal with our issues on a black first basis.
Don’t ever disrespect MLK and don’t ever disrespect Malcolm X. They had far more in common than they had differences. They simply had different strategies.
It was Martin Luther King Jr who lied to black people in America.Telling them that integration and voting would lead blacks in America to freedom. Now how on earth can obtaining freedom for black people in America come by being granted some rights and becoming part of a white owned and operated society? Most oppressed people tend to find freedom through obtaining sovereignty or statehood.
give me a choice I’d choose Malcolm X
I’m not a. black though but I admire him 😍
He hated white people
@Matt Boyer No he didn’t, He even said it on several accusations. You assume he hated them do to your uneducated mind. Expand it, and learn the truth.
Malcolm x was the one who had the correct stance from the beginning but after mecca he realised to win he had to join forces with MLK so he watered down his views just enough to make it seem as though he was becoming like MLK. As for MLK he only realised the significance of Malcolm X’s position after he was assasinated which in turn forced him to fill that void Malcolm X left then they killed MLK.
They’re both awesome because MLK was a leftist and Malcolm X was a Islamist
you cant compare them when they are not in the same league. malcolm preached what elijah thought him about the white man till he got kicked out of the nation. and afterwards he spent his time preaching agianst elijah and the nation till they dealt with him. on the other hand MLK was preaching about the injustice and inequality in america without hatefulness. and he got killed by a white man. so who do you think was a bigger threat to the administration ??
Both are iconic leaders
MLK WAS BEGGING WHITE PEOPLE AND GOT SHOT IN THE NECK FOR IT . MLK WAY DOESNT WORK .
Malcolm x became a hero but MLK became a legend
Malcom x on white liberals says it all.
What does Al jereez say about the racism blacks face in many middle Eastern countries… What do their followers say about it?
You look foolish putting up such videos… You are more racist than whites in America..
I think the white man used Martin Luther King to controll the black man and to keep him in check.
Nationality is KEY
He said: ‘kill the white men’.
I don’t respect that
Malcolm x will forever be a Lion
Martin Luther King Jr. fought for equality and Malcolm X fought only for black people.
Because back then blacks were suffering from inequality not all people.
Malcom x is magneto, martin is profesor x. And black people not like mutant they dont have super power at all and low iq
Lol. I’m sitting here in my office laughing at your dumb comment. Losers like you take shelter in that dumb racist statement. Get on with your life. Tearing down black people won’t make your life get the improvents it sounds like you need
MalcolmX was a real reveolutionary and legend 💙💙
Rip Malcolm X
Devine hand behind Malcomxs Knowledge.
You say he won’t let people define you, yet he just defined EVERY white american as dangerous.
A two minute video won’t help. Read books about both men then make up your mind. This topic is far too deep for this. We aren’t doing a movie review. Malcolm X said he transcribed the entire dictionary on his way to reforming himself. Martin Luther King Jr wasnt a preacher-hustler like so many others. Both of these men did amazing things with their lives. So if you are young and reading this comment, get on your grind and make us proud. Also, read books. Tiny videos aren’t where the knowledge is.
Malcolm X was the Greatest Man ever born in the land of the Native Americans. MLK was just another foolish Uncle Tom
Minister Malcolm X articulates our struggle, Dr. King teaches how to conduct oneself through the struggle. I love them both so much!
The four major assassinations of the 1960s that together had a disastrous impact on the course of American history.
‘John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy were each in their own unique way attempting to turn the United States away from war toward disarmament and peace, away from domestic violence and division toward civil amity and justice.
do you guys realize Malcom went to an all white school and was raised in a good neighborhood and his sister invited him over for a visit and fell in love with their culture? so he felt he didn’t fit in and was more on the white side cause he never saw culture like that. like jazz night clubs and the community that he tried separating us more. like telling his own black people we aren’t like them y’all really need to do research before going off a minute video
So your starting point on his views is? The reality is that period of history was tough for Everyone! It’s easy to armchair quarter back on Monday after Sunday’s game. But these men were taking a stand in a hostile environment.
People say MLK was under the white man’s thumb yet they killed him and we all see Malcolm was killed by his own.
He was killed by the white man .
The FBI and CIA killed Malcom X they inflitraited the NOI even Malcom said it
Malcom X gave you a solution. He said following the Quran and Sunnah was the cure to America’s problems.
What a great direction to shift America.
@Judah P. Benjamin Allah also says: “Allah does not forbid you from those [disbelievers] who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
” (60:8) The verses you posted refer to the battlefield. The prior verses make that obvious.
Give me Elijah Muhammad, Marcus Garvey and Booker T Washington
We watched this is history yesterday. I like the music. That’s why I came here 😂🎶
They killed King when he started to realize Malcolm X had been right and started pushing some of his initiatives.
Our elders loved MLK, but this new generation is all about Malcolm X. We not just studying and praising. This generation is actively challenging white supremacy. We understand that our elders are useless and most are traitors. They wanna find a comfortable place under white supremacy. And they wonder why the youth don’t respect them. The elders turn a blind eye to the police murdering unarmed black folks. God will make it right and I forgive them, that’s the mentality of black elders. We don’t forgive and we are gonna make it right, that’s the mentality of the youth. It’s the doers vs the do nothing’s.
Wrong this generation is lost.
This short piece is too light, superficial, does not go in depth and is used to divide and confront rather than to take the best of both (I am wary of the motives behind and the objective sought). Does not go into the changes experienced by both along the way. They both had strength of soul and evolved. Both were attacked and considered threats. Malcolm changed some of his views, MLK, too.
“If you’re not ready to die for it, put the word ‘freedom’ out of your vocabulary.”
(Malcolm X)
This is the problem with our community why choose they both dedicated their lifes for a good purpose
Malcolm was legend
Malcolm said “And if I can die having brought any light, having exposed any meaningful truth that will help to destroy the racist cancer that is malignant in the body of America — then all of the credit is due to Allah. Only the mistakes have been mine.”
King work together with 👁️
I’m more Malcolm X. 1:21, but put these together and what would you have?
I disagree with Dr King, Malcolm had the solution to each any every issue the American negro was facing. He knew that Christianity was going to lead them nowhere as the black man was always the most passionate Christian, but where has that gotten them? Malcolm always thought that the religion of Islam was desperately needed for the black man because it was the only religion to eradicate the race problem from society. Whenever he would go to Arab countries and stand before kings and the elite, they would always think of him as their long lost brother and treat him with the utmost respect. During his time at the pilgrimage in Makkah, he was treated with such respect and honour from people who’s skin were the whitest of white, hair that were the blondest of blonde and eyes that were the bluest of blue (quote by Malcolm). And only one thing was uniting them in this holy city and religion, and that was the belief of one single brotherhood. Malcolm had stated that it was as almost as if the thought of skin colour had been drawn away from everyones hearts, and the only thing they were judged upon was their actions and piety.
there is no glory in death! we better find peace in nonviolence . A living dog is better than a dead lion. AGREE OR DIE.
Martin was and still is loved by White people and Malcolm was hated by them is still is in a racist society. That’s what you need to know about them.
Unthought Known Malcolm x
was hated because he wasn’t Uncle Tom
Martin Luther King was a good man who wanted good things, the problem is he was a little bit like Obama, he was waiting that the racist white leaders of the US would treat black people equal and give them the same rights, now we are in 2019 and it is still not the case, malcolm x wasn’t that naïeve and know that it was not easy and you had to fight for freedom and justice
Martin Luther King knew the way to conquer hate was like Jesus said:….LOVE
1. There is good and bad in every man. It is wrong to hate anyone…. white, black, brown, yellow, red, green, purple, etc.
2. One must treat others just like you want to be treated; with LOVE and RESPECT. Be respectful, be responsible, and be a role model.
3. The antidote to hate is love and compassion — for others as well as ourselves.
4. There were whites who helped black people throughout slavery and throughout the Civil Rights era.
5. Quakers were among the first white people to denounce slavery in the American colonies and Europe.
6. Quakers were called the Society of Friends. They were white people who opposed slavery. In 1790, the Society of Friends petitioned the United States Congress and became the first organization to take a collective stand against both slavery and the slave trade, later spearheading the international and ecumenical campaigns against slavery.
7. Many of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities were started with the help of many white philanthropists.
8. For example: Booker T. Washington was a famous black educator of the 19th century, at Tuskegee University. He stated: Education is the ONLY WAY to lift the veil of IGNORANCE from the Negro. He lifted the veil of ignorance from his people and pointed the way to progress through Education and Industry.
9. But what some people do not know, the school started because of George Campbell, a former slave owner, and Lewis Adams, a former slave, in Alabama. They both deserve credit.
10. Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia is another example. The school was named Spelman Seminary in honor of Laura Spelman-Rockefeller (John D. Rockefeller’s wife) and her parents Harvey Buel and Lucy Henry Spelman, who were staunch activists in the antislavery movement. It became Spelman College in 1924.
11. The NAACP or National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was established in 1909 and is America’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. It was formed in New York City by white and black activists, partially in response to the ongoing violence against African Americans around the country. In the NAACP’s early decades, its anti-lynching campaign was central to its agenda. During the civil rights era in the 1950s and 1960s, the group won major legal victories, and today the NAACP has more than 2,200 branches and some half a million members worldwide.NAACP
12. Black on Black Crime……..
When vulgar convicted felons and low life Rap stars became, revered and put on pedestals, as messiahs of wisdom for our society, that is when I knew our black culture was crumbling down.
We should have evolved, but instead we have devolved; we have turned to being like animals, and livestock. We seem to revere the lowest common denominator in most things now.
13. Out went smart, engaged, educated and a thoughtful caring individual and in came the me, vulgar, profane, uneducated, ghetto way of acting.
1. The leading causes of death among black residents in the United States is HOMICIDE. The homicide rate among African Americans has been higher than that of any other race.
Matthew 10.34-39
34“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
@Nour Daniel – Once this verse is read in its historical and literary contexts, the meaning will change.
1. At first glance it indeed appears that Jesus encourages violence and calls his disciples to practice it, presumably righteous violence.
2. Let’s read more versus to get UNDERSTANDING.
3. Matthew 10:34 states:
32 “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. 34 Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn
a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— 36 a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household [Micah 7:6]
37 Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”
4. The one key element in this lengthy passage is the word “sword,” and its meaning is now clear. It indicates that following Jesus in his original Jewish society may not bring peace to a family, but may “split” it up, the precise function of a metaphorical sword. Are his disciples ready for that? This kind of spiritual sword invisibly severs a man from his father, and daughter from her mother, and so on
We didn’t need the faux trap music, but okay.
Melcom is right
Melcom was hated by racist whites and killed by them . His body was brought on a cart what a disrespect . African americans should be ashamed of themself to not trust malcom who gave his life
For them n trust mr king white stooge
One followed Jesus Christ and the other did not!
thank you
What’s that supposed to mean
@Hernan Andrade exactly 😂like what
MLK didnt sayint anything until Malcolm died
شهيد إنشاء الله
Erkin Aimagamedov الله يرحمه ويغفرله
Malcom was not a radical. Self defense is not radical
Peaceful protest only lasts for so long. I mean, look at India. It worked for getting Britain out of India, but when it came to the two factions of India facing against eachother, peaceful protest was no longer an option
There’s one thing about Malcolm that people keep ignoring, because tabloids love simplifying him into a “violent” type. Malcolm wasn’t about violence, he was about self defense, about fighting the system that oppresses – “We are nonviolent with people who are nonviolent with us”. His main reason for disagreeing with MLK was about MLK playing by their rules.
Brother Malcolm knew that if you fight them inside the boundaries that those corporate scum set up, you’re just gonna be part of that system, the change won’t be permanent. He wanted to break those boundaries. MLK wanted to play by their rules, act under the limits they created. Malcolm was against that – “People involved in a revolution don’t become part of the system; they destroy the system… The Negro revolution is no revolution because it condemns the system and then asks the system it has condemned to accept them…”
Sure, I don’t agree with Malcolm’s views on separation of races, even he himself changed his opinion on this issue later in his life. But his core beliefs were about more than changing one aspect of a system that involved race issues, he wanted the whole system to change, he wanted actual real freedom. Do you feel free nowadays? World is closing in on all of us, corporations control us like we are little puppets. We fight each other instead of fighting the real issue, while corporate scum are sitting there and collecting their checks. What we have right now is just an illusion of freedom, that’s what Malcolm was against. “It is a time for martyrs now, and if I am to be one, it will be for the cause of brotherhood. That’s the only thing that can save this country.” – he said this two days before his death.
Couldn’t have said it any better💪🏿❤️
I think Malcolm X is more relevant than ever after the protests ignited by George Floyds death. I’m not black, American, or living in the early 60s but if I was, I definitely would have sided with Malcolm X rather than MLK.
Real life version of Magneto vs Charles Xavier omg
So true it a bit unsettling almost
magneto and Charles are based on malcom and MlK
Both we’re good to the people. We needed a Malcom and Martin . 👏🏻
Martin Luther king was more moral in his action to stop the racism.
Do you know any other peaceful people who fight for civil rights in history? I can’t find anyone before 1800s. Please help thanks
@LoveJesusChrist lovejesus Susan B anthony died for womens rights and fought against slavery. Anyone before 1800? We were only formally a country in 1776, theres a lot between the signing of the declaration and Martin Luther king, and to suppose before Martin Luther king was born we created the nation a week ago is ridiculous. There are many examples of both famous people and not at all famous people who opposed slavery and promoted african american rights.
@Marshall Samford thanks for info but I mean world wide😥 not just america but I can’t find any. I know not everyone could have been violent before 1800s. There had to be someone who was peaceful.
@LoveJesusChrist lovejesus I’m not sure tbh, there must have been people in the past who treated everyone fairly, but history and what we know of it doesnt reflect that too good. Buddha, Christ and people in ancient babylon were pretty excepting of all people. To give you a specific name would be a bit harder though. I hope you find what your looking for 🙂
@Marshall Samford Wow I didn’t even know Babylon was that accepting of people. I know they had a ruler that was kind in his life time but I didn’t Babylon people were kind like that also. Thanks for trying to help me. Its just so hard because the history chanel and wiki and documentaries on youtube never do documents on kind people through history. Thanks
Malcolm after he left NOI and then became a Muslim, he had a whole different perspective. He then too fought for the rights of the black.
How come we learned about Martin so quick but not once Malcolm was brought up in school
Martin and Malcolm were both legends but Malcolm’s method was better than Martins. Martin’s method wouldn’t have stopped anything, blacks would still be oppressed. Malcolm’s self defense method was better because he thought black people had to fight with necessary force to gain freedom. Martin was more morally correct, but Malcom’s ideas were more successful.

Evil breeds more evil. Racism against the blacks bred Malcom X, and now the police violence breeds chaos and riots.. But the forces behind could easily be the Democrats. This is how democracy always ends ,in desperate combats for power, as opposed to Liberty ,a sane, rational society. That is why the Libertarian flank of the old Democrat party bfr the civil war broke out to form the first Republican, the party of Abe Lincoln, one of the causes of the civil war where the Republicans wanted to end slavery.
What has happened afterwards is a different tale, and the Republicans were gradually turned into the fascists that the Democrat was bfre 1860s.
The Democrat now however has lost all liberal thought like Kennedys and MLK jr types, and have fallen into Malcom X and Lenin mindsets
(while Joe Biden is obviously just a big corp lobbyist , just like Trump and like the Bushes. Vote Libertarian or risk to maybe even face another civil war)
It is time for America to choose the first woman as a president ,Jo Jorgenson)
At this point you fight fire with fire, or you prove resilience with peace for the cause.
Mike king was a fraud..
Malcolm X’s words still relevant today after george floyd die
That’s a blatant LIE brother Malcolm. “Non-violent” does NOT mean defenseless. We have the second amendment in America!
Martin Luther King is a WHITE MAN in deed and in words.
violence won’t stop anything but peace
