If you talk about stuff like that sounds like we just grew a brain to be able to do that NO probably never tried to become one. She’s a US Navy Pilot completong basic flight school. She still has to go through her specific flight school for fighter jets. No doubt she will excel in her career.
So is she not a “Tactical Fighter Pilot” as the news item says?
@Phil Gray she is a tactical fifgter pilot. One only graduates after completing Advance Flight School which covers all the basic tactical manoeuvres you are expected to know in front – line squadrons. The only difference is that she has so far completed them on the T-45 which is a training aircraft. As cisa93 rightly said, she is now going to join a squadron of either the F-18 or F-35. Training never ends in flying and even though she already a qualified tactical pilot, she will be a ‘student’ several times as she advances through the many stages of flight leadership.
Black people are always getting special treatment just cause they black!

Maybe the fact that thousands of women were employed in roles that were formerly the preserve of men could have some bearing on that. r zel: Clearly you are in need of some education on training of naval aviators. Those golden wings being pinned onto her dress uniform at 0:21 are all the proof you need. You earn those ONLY after completing Advanced Flight Training, which includes bombing, air combat manoeuvring (dog fighting), a bunch of other tactical manoeuvres and finally Carrier Qualifications. To be carrier qualified, she has to land on the ship at least 10 times. All shipborne landings are flown solo (that means there’s no instructor on that plane to help her if she messes up). Accept it that girl is a HOT SHOT and one among a group of experts doing what the majority of us can only dream of. Now she’ll be off to an operational squadron where she will convert onto either the F-18 or F-35. Don’t hate her for what she has earned. The best you can do is try to achieve what she has done.

So, instead of having the best pilots. Lets’ start equaling out the different races. Who cares if they crash a 6 billion dollar plan that is paid for by the tax payers. So many people of all races wash out of the flight schools. They are extremely demanding. Just allow those that can actually pass the courses to do what they have been doing. I don’t care what color a person is. If they can do the job give it to them. But don’t sacrifice skill just for color. This woman here. She made it. All on her own. The pride she must have in herself in making this accomplishment. Has to be immense. She knows it wasn’t given to her. She earned it.
