Fresh push for peace as Nagorno-Karabakh truce fails

Russia’s foreign minister says Turkey will not be involved in peace talks over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia have been meeting in Moscow. Azerbaijan had proposed that Turkey be present in the talks. Armenia and Azerbaijan are accusing each other of violating a humanitarian ceasefire, which has left cassualties on both sides. Nagorno-Karabakh truce crumbling as warring sides allege attacks

A ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan is under threat following new attacks in the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh. Each side is blaming the other for not respecting the truce. Azeri officials say the city of Ganja was struck by missiles in the early hours of Sunday. Armenia, Azerbaijan accuse each other of violating ceasefire

Azerbaijan and Armenia have accused each other of violating the terms of a ceasefire in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, raising questions about how meaningful the truce, brokered by Russia on Friday, would turn out to be. Nagorno-Karabakh: Armenia, Azerbaijan ceasefire comes into effect

A ceasefire agreed by Armenia and Azerbaijan has come into effect at noon local time (08:00 GMT) to end nearly two weeks of heavy fighting over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
