UN officials have condemned the killings of at least 10 people in Myanmar’s northwestern Sagaing district allegedly perpetrated by government security forces. Global supply crisis: Shipping delays for Chinese-made goods

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused logistical headaches for global shippers thanks to raised transport costs, quarantine measures and extra paperwork. China’s zero-tolerance approach to the coronavirus has not helped: in May it closed one of its busiest ports because of a COVID-19 outbreak. That has affected the supply of Chinese products to the United States, dampening the Thanksgiving Day holiday sales, when shoppers are traditionally on the hunt for bargains. India building its longest-ever vehicle pass in Kashmir

The Indian government is building the last of four major tunnels in Indian-administered Kashmir. Officials say this, one of Asia’s longest tunnels, will be the country’s longest. The tunnels are intended to connect areas that are usually cut off during the winter snows and come as part of India’s effort to beef up development near its border with China. But as Al Jazeera’s Pavni Mittal reports from New Delhi, India, the project has proven to be controversial. – Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AJEnglish/ – Find us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aljazeera/ – Check our website: https://www.aljazeera.com/ #India #Kashmir

Afghan city defies norm by keeping schools open for girls

The Taliban came to power promising to respect women’s rights and allow girls’ education – in line with Islamic precepts.
