UN officials have condemned the killings of at least 10 people in Myanmar’s northwestern Sagaing district allegedly perpetrated by government security forces.
Eyewitness accounts from the area say more than 100 government troops entered Don Thaw village on December 7, searching for armed fighters from the so-called Peoples Defence Force.
A video has emerged claiming to show the aftermath of the killing.

Sad to admit it but I supported military during these Rohingya conflicts because I just assumed military was going to clear out Rohingya militants who have been killing Rakhine people and would respect human rights during these operations but turns out they killed everyone including civilians and they were evil for a long time since the foundation of the Union of Myanmar. But I know about them now and I will not support these monsters and I will fight back when I have the courage and ability to do it. Most of the Burmese were enlightened like me and apologized for it to Rohingya and to the ethnics for their negligence about the army. Most of Burmese are trying to fix it by taking up arms. So it’s up to you whether to victim blame Burmese or not.

Coincidentally, I was recommended some older videos of Rohingya massacre by some other news outlets. The comment section was filled with people cheering for the army and the monks who took part in it. They were also supported by their so called ‘friends’ from other countries lavishly praising them for the killings. Now seeing this video, I don’t know whether I should sympathize with these people for their current situation or not..
