Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu has visited Russian troops in Ukraine, the RIA Novosti news agency reports, his first public appearance since the weekend mutiny by the Wagner Group. The leader of the Wagner Group – whose mercenaries have fought side by side with the Russian military – led a rebellion on Saturday. Wagner’s chief has blamed Sergei Shoigu for his fighters’ deaths.
