Huawei makes communication equipment that is used widely throughout the world including places like Britain that the United States would like to think of as its closes allies. Nevertheless, the damage to those nations that is the goal of the American attack on Huawei does not seem to be any kind of consideration to the politicians running the United States. Those politicians only seem able to consider their need for dominance and the threat to that dominance that comes from a Chinese company that is too successful.
And Marco Rubio pushing a new bill to steal Huawei IP…talk about China stealing…you can’t beat them, steal from them…that’s is the old USA style.
NSA will have a hard time spying into communication network using Huawei that’s why they want to ban them from global network.
Yeah, it’s true American NSA and CIA ask to Huawei if you want our market you need to leave the backdoor open to them, share their technology with them, need to provide them if they need it. but Huawei is major network in China so Huawei said NO we can’t leave the backdoor open because NSA can spied on china and could create chaos so America said OK we ban you.
@gj k Most importantly, the U S politicians don’t want their telecom companies to pay royalties or patent fees to Huawei, period, nothing to do with the security. All the data on the networks are controlled by the telecom operators, not by Huawei. If Huawei equipment can spy on the citizens in the countries they installed, why more than 150 countries allowed Huawei equipment and cellphones to be used in their countries ? The U S, under Trump administration and U S politicians are preaching that Huawei is dangerous company, the fact is that its 5G equipment is the most advance in the world.
The paradigm has been shift from the West to the East, the U S doesn’t want to admit that Huawei products are more superior than either Erickson or Nokia. Huawei is in the business of making money, if they allow any country to put spyware ( BACKDOOR’S SPYWARE ) on their equipment, they will lost their reputation.

huawei holds 70% of 5G patents, even america use nokia or erression their products have to pay for Huawei patent fee, so huawei is sitting there collecting american money without need to sell anything in america

What this beauty said makes alot of sense and she is honest. Huawei equipments are not only the best but value for money. It will be very costly to remove Huawei infrastructure and replace it with what? This only goes to show that what the US is demanding from their allies is too much and unreasonable.
An even better example is Canada arrested the Huawei princess under the request of the US, and is suffering the consequences while Americans are laughing the stupidity of Canada.

The rest of world start to luanch 5G while US is left behind. Huawei’ 5G tech. is 2-3 years ahead of competitors’ and 40% lower on price. No country is stupid to buy those out of date equipments on almost double price. I am assuming US authority will let go Huawei finally. 5G is techological frontline and all economical future is based on it and US won’t give it up easily.

US banning Huawei equipment will probably delay the introduction of a 5G network in US by several years. A result of that will be slower development of anything that’s using advanced telecommunication, such as some AI applications. Ericsson and Nokia are to slow developers to really compete with Huawei.
Every othe country will therefore get a technological advantage over US, and take the market in developing applications on that infrastructure. Not to use the best 5G system is a big blunder US is making. Especially China will get a head start on how to build new technology upon a 5G network.
The 5G network is perhaps the most important infrastructure for future technology development.
The US goverment doesn’t have any strategic vision any more!
the purpose of the US is to delay the Chinese and hopefully US can find a way to promote alternate 5G network that is American design and produce in probably 2-3 years time. I reckon as more countries uses Huawei, US might even impose sanction on the companies to force them switch Huawei out. all these will dependent whether trump win the next election.

Ericsson and Nokia are cheaper but far from what HUAWEI is capable of.
Ericson and Nokia DO NOT have the manufacturing capability of Huawei and the price competition for it too. They will be players but much smaller ones. Keep in mind that 5G means millions of little broadcast boxes installed at every corners of the streets with the 5G coverage. And there is only one country in this world having this manufacturing capability, and that is China. And we have not even talked about the large number of 5G patents under Huawei’s belt.
Forget it. 5G war is over. It is Huawei leading the next technological revolution. US is either onboard or left behind. It is sad that White House is occupied by some 70s and 80s years old White Men who have no idea how the new world run.
