There have been running street battles between protesters and police for the fourth day in a row in Tunisia.
Demonstrators have been gathering in several cities to vent their anger against the government.
The coronavirus pandemic has crippled an already failing economy, which depends on tourism.
And, a third of the country’s young people are without a job.

A PRESIDENT SHOULD HAVE DIGNITY & HONOR
Who voted him?
@Dm Narayan Swamy Swamy the people
the big eye of usa is watching don’t let america in or it is over like in syria libya yemen iraq afghanistan
Rich countries will always richer
Poor country will always Poor
So, why not rich countries helps other poor countries…
Great logic but unfortunately I don’t think there will be hope for humanity with the amount of ignorance in some people
How can you say they will be richer if they will help us… Their rich will stay on the country and pockets…🤣🤣
LET OIC / GCC /ISLAMALLAH ☪️ DO IT .
@RAVI SINGH Islam is the problem
Give the people what they want
How? There’s no tourism and money.
Is this the next round of Arab spring?
no this tunisia spring only for tunisia
The people of the world are waking up, and rising up!!!!
The great awakening
Against what? I honestly have no idea what you’re even trying to imply
@Christoffer Lauge Jespersen oppression, capitalism, the ruling class, imperialism….take your pick…..
Ok conspiracy theorist.
Zombie apocalypse,
Yet we’re alive and starving in the same manner –
how ironic.
Still want democracy
Yes
Hold onTunisia !! The world Alliance is coming to take down the cabal evil that has manufactured our misery for centuries !! The people will win for the first time !!
and that is the saudis UAE israelis the french along with the US and who ever bankrolled or supported dictators in what ever means
This is what happens when you have madrassa education is formal in reality but real formal education is forbidden.
what are you talking about tunisia is secular we dont have madrassa’s we aren’t in afghanistan, we have one of the best educations systems in africa
we have real formal education with strict standards and world wide recognized highschool degree. I have attended madrassa myself as a kid for 2 years and it was better than primary school i got a more valuable knowledge in arabic than that i got in normal school. idk why yall so scared of it most kids go through it for a while here and they’re doing just fine.
We will not die from Corona, we will die from poverty and hunger due to the endless cycles of lockdowns and curfews
Yes you will
Some of this problems are actually easy to achieve, like having few children that economy can support even on bad times.
You’re dumb
@Izzadīn Ar-Rūsī you are dumb
@Tobin Pai no u
You don’t find jobs you make them start a business do research and development sell products make your nation rich .
@Mohamed Kabha do you even know what dropshiping even is? Because what I said has NOTHING to do with drop shipping. You talk about corruption, but that’s a culture problem in the middle East. Money is ‘power’. So what you’re telling me is that revolt will bring prosperity in the middle East? Lol are you sure about that? Apparently Iraq, Lebanon, Tunisia and many other countries in the region now have democracy, yet they experience the highest amount of unemployment and poverty the region sees today. So you hardly make any sense at all. Look at the Gulf, they don’t have problems like other Arab countries do in terms of opportunities such as business start up help support and employment for their citizens.
@Tariq Al-Sulbi
I know what drop shipping is but I thought you were mistaken because no way on earth that you can get a 100 unit product from ali baba to the arab world with just 200 usd (I have worked in this before) furthermore my point is that things like that competition is already very high and too many people do it
@Mohamed Kabha it’s very possible to make small orders on Alibaba. You just have to find a product that is already produced and the supplier has it in stock. I’ve done it plenty of times before.
@Tariq Al-Sulbi Gulf countries don’t have problems due to oil
@R Iraq has oil and so does Syria. Sooo…????
🙏🕯💜🕯🙏
People have to understand the resources of there respected countries. All countries can not become Rich.
And you say that after all the western countries became rich because of colonialism. If there was no colonialism then everyone wouldn’t have been the way they are today
We wonder how do the governments pay for their army when their citizens dont have food to eat
Oil usually a lot of these countries governments control money from oil or a good part of it.
@Aurum Xau Islam lol it’s your stupid democracy and secularism that’s is like a cancer is that region
@Aurum Xau Tunisia is a Secular country not a theocracy you halfwit 🤦♂️
@Nonya Business thers no oil in tunisia the bigget incomst is tourism wich is cut off due to covid
@Aurum Xau when Islam ruled no one was hungry
Blame CCP China, it’s their plan to crash the rest of the world’s economy, to allow Maoism to take over.
Mad respect for these people! Get these criminal politicians out.
Bro the people(not all of them) are criminal and thieves themselves , …and those politicians they voted for them repatdly for 10 years now … Hence why there is corruption everywhere in this country
It’s obvious we need true leaders in times like these not people voting for who they like and we especially don’t need to be bashing anybody in times like these but it’s all coming together as planned evil will try to profit off of everyone and be exposed for what they truly are hateful proud and hopeless
This is whats on the cards for UK. Unless we sheep wake up and turn into tigers.
the uk is suffering of similar problems?
@وادي الذئاب no it’s not, don’t mind ricks can comment
You want to be oppressed so bad it’s actually sad. Go move to a third world country with an unstable government, weak currency and economic infustructure. That should satisfy you
Africa is rising the rich are scared
Africans have been saying this for decades but nothing has risen expect poverty 😂
@Adam Fernandez Ask yourself, why?
Coming to a city near you soon once the global economic depression hits later this year..
Love my beautiful Tunisians beothera and sisters from Pakistan.
thanks pal, appreciated. pakistan is so much popular here
Ask yourselves what natural resources do we have and how much fuss would it be to occupy and steal sed resources. UK has NOTHING which is great !
I’m not sure what is happening to African countries right now is internal. Is an External effort to bring us down
God Almighty has provided on Earth enough for Mans Need but not enough for his Greed
That’s Gandhiji quote
He provided and continues to provide more than enough. But, DEVILS create situations to cause excessive lack for their own pleasures.
So this is supposed to be a democratic Tunisia after 2011?
i live in holland ,believe me ,it’s worse here.
@common sense how come
@common sense atleast you are not hungry
not yet.
Biden…
Sad to see this in the most progressive muslim country.
Love from Poland.
As a Polish I don’t blame you..
Poland can’t interfere with our nations even if they wanted they can’t
But USA Imperialist is seething us with anger Arab countries politicians are nothing but stooges..
We have suffered innumerably by the support USA gives these Dictators and they preach democracy from the back
Do you remember 9/11? All the attackers were from Saudi Arabia.. And basically Saudi Arabia King was deposed and another King was brought hhhh no not that happened Saudi was already a puppet
So they bombed the resistance forces in Iraq and Afghanistan
Then don’t come to Qatar ,Dubai
Pierwszy raz widze nie rasistowski komentarz od polaka
@Hamid Hussein It’s funny that you’re against Saudi but you follow their imperialistic ideology, Islam.
lololol.
Virus enforced by the army
Inna lillahi wa’inna ilaihi rajiun
What ??
The army should be helping the people ! in stead they have turned against their own family members. Shame on army rats across the world !
The same is about to happen in america
FREEDOM FOR PEOPLE OFF THE WORLD
It’s so sad to see what government officials all over the world has done ttrying to destroy human-life all we want to do is feed our families and work
Agreed, The average man is a honest hard working figure who’s trying to build a future for his family. These excessive lockdowns will make them die of hunger and poverty before this virus..
Lol. You think that government can solve every problem? Look at the deeper problems Tunisia faces: totally dependent on tourism, neihbouring Lybia (war), no trade, inflation due to government deficit, no external capital, corruption, etc.
It all started by CCP …
I thought Tunisia was a democratic paradise
its democratic but nothing like a paradise other arabs living under kings and dictators are living lavish lives with Ferraris and tigers for pets and us under democracy cant even buy food to feed our families
@Clown freinds what ferraris? xD i kept contact with saudi friends they live in misery and poverty more than that of here in tunisia. only the elite and the closest to the royal family have that. believe me it’s paradise here compared to there. If dictatorship will take place in tunisia we’re screwed man egypt will look far better than us
Democratic but with less democratic constitutions .we lost the libyan market because of the war there , algeria is closed economy with 0 help from the so called partner EU this country dying every day
As long as Tunisia remains secular, I’m sure they will work things out.
Yes, that’s what’s important now, secularism will get you out of this one. idiot
they were secular that’s the problem
Secularisme doesn’t bring food
@shovon farhan we still secular there’s no problem of secularism in Tunisia but there’s a problem with the one who define themselves as secular
Recolonisation
Stop having more children than you can support.
that is not the problem im afraid, the wealth is in the hands of the 2% and they want more ,that’s the real problem
child birth was never a problem. population is decreasing here and none is interested in having babies here
@common sense the wealth is always in hands of the top 2%. I live in Holland and It’s the same.
Stuff like this does not help tourism which Tunisia relies on
there will be no tourism if the agenda of the nwo keeps going, these people don’t have any income , zero, so what are they supposed to do, wait till the masked Europeans come to visit in the summer?
we do not rely on tourism anymore, we’re going up in agriculture and manufacturing as tourists don’t frequent here anymore
@Highway Runner agriculture and manufacturing are important but turism is also important but Tunisia is lacking behind in turism sector with infrastructure from 70s we can’t gain too much money from it
Covid is start of world war 3
Thanks to the Wuhan Virus
Greedy economic system is the real problem ,follow the money
@S S I’m talking about mangos, you’re talking about papaya
@S S Actually the economy was doing significantly well before the covid mess. Ngl this is all a consequence of the pandemic.
i ‘m tunisian and i can tell you this is nothing but an attempt to destroy the accomplishments we made throught the real revolution , the police man who assaulted the sheepherd was hired by the old regime to recreate the same incident caused by mohamed l bouazizi 10 years ago , those people are mostly children they re still in hight school , they know nothing about revolution they were still in prime school when we started the arab spring , they re fake custom made protesters who dont seek to solve problems them selfes
brave people as always have been. love my tunisia from nl
Sounds like the US
I love Sabeya
ANWAR ❤️ Sabeya
Another civil war coming 😢
*Go back to Arabia if you don’t like it.*
*Africa for Africans.*
lol racist
@Nostro 200 Simply stating facts.
@C. Lincoln Maghrebis are not Arabs, they’re indigenous to Africa. They’re called Arabs because they speak Arabic. Africa is not all black people. Here are your facts.
Now is the time for the islamic brothers to be merciful among each other.
These people are your future.
@The Channel aren’t Islamic people spouses to help one another if in trouble?
@Mark Knoop 😂 supposed to help but not in today’s conditions
@Mark Knoop there’s no sovereignty in arabic countries unfortunately the democratic ones and non democratic ones
@The Channel Nice there’s somthing you can rely on.
@The Channel i’m talking about a religion not about country’s.
This your secularism and democracy at best wake up you have your own system
@Rafsan Student Islam is the problem. Get rid of it
@Arolema Prarath not really, once you get rid of it, you have an archaic mentality to deal with…
I don’t consider a country with more than half of its population having voted for the islamist party, and with a line in its constitution that clearly says: “Islam is the religion of Tunisia” as secular.
@Arolema Prarath on the contrary stupid this is youre stupid system in action lol
@Berkov L that line is just a decoration thier is nothing Islamic about the constitution of Tunisia except the people them self’s
Looks scary in Tunisia, is this another Tunisian revolution ?
@Maxi Maximus.90 nothing’s happening…
Jobs will not come by itself… You have create it… Man…like the chinese..
But government should introduce laws which would ease new start up. .
Rioting will not help… Even If you put a government which is public friendly it will take years to improve economy…
But yes Police Brutality needs to be stop.. I live in Bangladesh and I know what is Police brutality is.
Indeed, couldn’t have said it better 👍
65 years of “Independence” and that’s how Tunisia looks now!!! 😢
Technically our phosphorus get robbed by france and oil by ENEL so limited indipendence
@khalifa ezzar
All the best and hopefully this crisis will end soon and peacefully, my heart is with everyone of you👍
@khalifa ezzar We still tend to think that the only way to get rich is through natural resources. That’s just wrong… South Korea got its independence from japan around the same period as Tunisia. Look at Koreans now: Huge car/ phone/ electronic and ship manufacturers with practically no natural resources yet among the richest in the world… Same goes for Japan, Taiwan, Switzerland, Iceland..etc.. If only we’ve tried working a bit harder, and believing more in our country, we would have achieved so much more. Fun Fact: Most of our exports are Oil/ Fossil Fuels… We technically are an oil-reliant country not that that changes anything.
0:20 near miss
Lucky man 😜
Throwing rocks at tanks was never and will never be an effective strategy for positive change. Grow a brain people.
Hummmm l thought that its only in my motherland uganda. God help us and this popi too
that man was just on another fake news about coming to America .. all fake news just for you
Corona spring
No army
No police
Can stop hungry PEOPLE…
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY …
RICH LAND
AND ONLY 12MILLION POPULATION
AND IT’S STRATEGIC LOCATION…
TO BE CONTINUED….
👍👏✌
We all want the sane thing, food, water, safe shelter, to be healthy and medicine needed to be healthy, to be happy, and to learn so we can provide for our loved ones.
They have all of those. They have food, water, safe shelter and universal free healthcare. One has to admit that we don’t have the best infrastructure, and bad administration management but we should be thankful to have those nonetheless. These protesters are young uneducated thugs who don’t want to work (not because they can’t find work) and just want to leave for Europe. “Peaceful Protests” doesn’t mean: “Rob Private Businesses and destroy public property”
It’s really sad to see this. Instead of spending time doing ibadaah. They’re instead wasting time on the streets.
LMAO, these comments are so ridiculous. I’m sad to see you believe in angels.
With the arrival of Obama administration 2.0 Arab Spring 2.0 has been started.
World wide genocide is in full swing
Another Spring???
From Washington DC to Ettadhame, Tunisia
Every country needs to start rising up.
NED still very active there.
In America they call this peaceful protest
The globalists are responsible for this mess crimes against humanity we are not desposable we are not there slaves this has to stop either government have guts tell the globalists to f off or the people will rise up third and blessed of all God will have his vengeance on them all
In most of the world the young people lead the charge for change. In the US it has to be the older people because the young ones are all brainwashed.
Tunisia, not again.
All of the countries are failed states .
Death to these power hungry pigs
We need to unite under one flag of pure Tawhid,
Instead of National flags and political banners. We must raise slogans of Allahu Akbar and Kalima Tayyib together, Instead of raising Patriotic and Nationalist slogans.
Our Victory lies in loyalty to Quran Not National constitutions.
Islam is a cult
No thx, we’re not interested..
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ
Arab spring was 10 years ago ? Wow!
@The Channel Im not Tunisian and I dont have to be to understand a protest. So what are you saying these protests are government funded?
Radical left wing who want a better life, money and work and future! If thats radical left wing I will hate to know whats radical right wing!
@Abdul Halim as i already told you i’m not against this protests i’m against protests that destroy public and private properties . I already gave you an example happened in 2017 btw protests in Tunisia never stopped from 2011 but it’s not that big . But these protests happened simultaneously in many provinces with the same acts of stealing properties that puts a question mark . For the radical right wing they’re not allowed to be active in political scene in the purpose of terrorism and a low called S17 after 2 assassination of 2 deputies of the parlement in 2012-2013 .
@The Channel So if protests happening on and off from 2017 is that not a red flag in it self. No one wakes up to go protest if life is good atleast not that hard. If the right has been banned and the left are now also made to look as property destoyers and public hooligans then you have to call out the government as well.
I agree no one should be attacking public and private infastructure but their must be some sort of anger for it to happen. If they only want to work and provide food then yes they can protest the governmemt in different ways but when the law enforcers who are there to protect the peace end up brutally attack as well why shouldnt the public fight back! Is just force on the side of the Law when they abuse it? There is lot of angles at play here and dont ever thing its one side “The radical left” and its also the government who feed off these actions to implemant draconian laws
@Abdul Halim btw left wing in Tunisia approximately between 5%-10% they lost all of the elections from 2011 and because they didn’t make a problem for the dictatorship before 2011 they’re allowed to practice in a social organization unlike the right wing and they occupied the unions in the country called UGTT and because UGTT have a big role in tge independence of tunisia they can have a political voice in the country also there’s no democratic lows for unions in Tunisia yet that’s why they are one of the problems in tge country with many stikes every year even in 2017 students didn’t go to schools and pass exams because of strikes .
@Abdul Halim you are absolutely true but the situation in Tunisia is very complicated after the revolution in 2011 and after the first democratic election in the country the union UGTT called for stikes and in one year there was 40000 stikes in every field that led the economy to a crise and Tunisia is a touristic country after the terrorist attacks tunisia lost many tourists and went to world bank to get debts and then get instructions to resolve the economy but UGTT didn’t accept these instructions that leds government to finance a bankrupt government companies instead of selling it in the reason of protecting tge workers there and the government financed these companies from the money of the development of the poor provinces that allocated it . This one of the main problems now EU and world bank don’t want to give us money until we start these reforms .
To think this land used to be the heartland of Carthage.
Islam is the one to be blamed
@Arolema Prarath islam – french …-Rome
@Arolema Prarath Indeed, though I have to admit, the mentality here is to blame too.
No employment OK * The reason for this is to destroy the country’s economy *
Worldwide , we are done with the bullshit . Stand up and be heard .
be heard doesn”t mean destroying loacal shops
This is foreshadowing America
that’s it lockdown has taken over and the leaders don’t care, covid is FAKE so get out and fight for your country
Sad, very sad, whilst the rich laugh the real people must suffer…..
My heart goes for Tunisia
Where tf is Tunisia?
Google maps is your friend guy
Very sad, the world will get worse.
iam a tunisian i live in menzel bourgiba and its calm for know but in hours it will change the whole country is changing all the 1000+ that got arrested are minors and teens between 14-20 a 2nd revaloution will start soon “chaos” is not ment for that the real chaos is coming and very soon belive me ive seen alo
dream on….
@Berkov L wdym?
🇹🇳When you love people who dont know how to love
And You can’t help it because they are your family and home
Also it hurts how savage they become
Selfishly and badly they act
Negociation is a war for them
And there should be always a winner
While it is much easier
that it is acceptance and understanding
That’s them but you love them
And you wish if they can see
That we’re not ennemies
That there should not always be war or a winner
That together we can be
Whoever we wish to be🇹🇳
Failed revolution.
lol
you know this is not the way your not like america lol.
The protesters are aged under 20 and all of them stealing and destroying private and public properties .this protests came after a very wild strikes from UGTT union (left wing lost in election 2019) to make government accept a National Dialogue Initiative from UGTT .
Protesters are just thugs making trouble. Unemployed highschool dropouts, nothing more, nothing less. I very highly doubt there’s a political incentive behind it. Also, what’s the relationship between the worker’s union and the left wing exactly? I don’t see your point…
@Berkov L left wing in Tunisia approximately between 5%-10% they lost all of the elections from 2011 and because they didn’t make a problem for the dictatorship before 2011 they’re allowed to practice in a social organization unlike the right wing and they occupied the unions in the country called UGTT and because UGTT have a big role in the independence of tunisia they can have a political voice in the country also there’s no democratic lows for unions in Tunisia yet that’s why they are one of the problems in tge country with many stikes every year even in 2017 students didn’t go to schools and pass exams because of strikes .
Pray to allah, don’t ask for help from anyone, just pray one million times and allah will come down using his holy ladder. lol
that won’t help. All poor Arab countries’ citizens have been praying for their nations to stabilize and get better, and their situation is getting worse. I’m sad to acknowledge that adults still believe angels exist… Praying won’t do anything. You can pray all you want and sit still in your coffeeshop not doing anything. For countries to get better people have to work hard. Those protesters are actually unemployed high school dropouts only looking for trouble and making a fuss. Though they may be poor, they’re not really starving like they claim, they just want to leave the country because they don’t want to work (as if they’d find a better life elsewhere…)
There is nothing in Tunisia. Either tourism or picking olives from a tree.
When corrupt governments across the globe take over and not able to provide basic nesscesites. It’s just the beginning more to come from different places, let’s see how much more we can get suppressed and tolerate.
Isis will find a new home soon
Trump not president.. everybody want to fight each other.
Deep state get into power in America, and they’ve already started to destabilize the Middle East
Why don’t there allah in the sky help? Oh I forgot. Allah fake just like Jesus.
Notice they are not buring their own building down.
