The opposition in Chad has denounced what it is calling an “institutional coup”.
That is after the son of slain President Idris Deby, Mahamat Deby, was appointed as leader.
The military, which announced Deby’s sudden death on Tuesday, has promised elections in a year and a half.
But unions are threatening to strike, and rebels are planning to march on the capital.

The real issue is the Chadian military consistently claiming absurd and clearly false kill counts of rebels while continually continually losing ground to them, creating such a distorted picture of the battlefield that the president himself had to go to the front to lead his men where he was subsequently killed.
If chad is losing why are rebels not in Ndjamena? You don’t need to be a Foreteller to understand the strength of Chadian army. That army is deadly.

Soliders and police are shooting live rounds and RPG etc. towards peaceful protestors..There are Thousands of political prisoners and some are tortured to death by the next morning…
