Tropical Storm Elsa is on its way to the US state of Florida after its destructive path wreaking havoc in the Caribbean.
Cuban officials had evacuated 180,000 people as a precaution against the possibility of heavy flooding from a storm that already battered several Caribbean islands, killing at least three people.
The storm slowly moved north, towards the capital, where preparations were under way.

As a Cuban myself I can proudly say we are the nation with the lowest death after hurricane season is over. Since forever the government do whatever it can to prevent human lost. My memories of these cyclones how we commonly called it, are the most beautiful. The smell of the rain, the soil, the wind, all gathering together under a candle light if it night time. And then just right after all have passed the sky opens blue ! 😊
