Well … I would say that … if we leave Afghanistan ancient “Graveyard of Empires” aside … that Taliban men’s fighting roots … is even before the Russian 1979 episode … that the British were annoying the situation in the late 1800’s and their forward scout persons (re East India Company?) did not fare well – they unpleasantly lost their lives – a friend told me today that the British were skinned alive, and as to why … and true or false … I do not know …
