I don’t think that space junk will keep rotating the earth orbit more like some will slowly float away cause junk are not controlled so it will float towards wider area, that is the reason why people needs their satellite or ISS to be controlled so that their satellite or ISS will not float away form earth

So, if you laid all that space junk on the earth’s surface, you will have one piece of space junk every 510 km”. But, the debris is in layers many hundreds of kilometers high. Collision is very unlikely. There have only been 190 space junk collisions since 1961. See Wikipedia “List of space debris producing events”. … Our real big problem is plastic in our oceans!
