In Belgium, the number of coronavirus infections has surged over the past month.
Around half of all new cases are in Antwerp. A nighttime curfew has been imposed on the port city and social distancing rules imposed.

Open borders are responsible for the spreading of the virus.
Open borders?? Belgium borders aren’t open
@Whitewolf Calvin yes they are lol are you even Belgian
@Jonas Vinck yes
freedom is done…and all these idiots begging for their freedom’s to be snatched from them
Covic19 is like unwanted weed that keeps regenerating after being uprooted. 😠😠😠
Where I live Southern California is a mess at the beaches all down the coast bars are packed, restaurants are busy people packed on the beach no masks 🤦🏻♀️I don’t understand the mentality of the ppl who do this and not care about others. Their hospitals are already full and can’t handle more. The only way they will learn is to loose someone or to get really sick themselves
Tougher measures works. Just look at New Zealand. They now enjoy getting out and about.
There are more factors which explain why NZ did so well. It is complicated.
@Mi Movil like how they’re an isolated island nation, and how they have very low population density
Yep..we are living normally..as long as we keep out foreigners who have not been in quarantine for 14 days and tested negative twice!
@Mi Movil Yes few factors played their part. And total lock down was one of them. This move is criticised due to economic down turn. But I guess local spending should be good but still affected by tourists not coming in as good chunk of GDP is that.

My keyboard is old, what’s your excuse? Brain expired?
@Lenina Crowne what’s even wrong with my sentence except for the overuse or lack of captions and punctuation? The sentence? Don’t think so. Why would a mask not have to be mandatory for safety reasons?
The perception of the risks of the Covid-19 crisis are now so exaggerated that it demonstrates how fear has become the only true enduring reality of the pandemic.
A country with 9 gouvernements running at the same time, waiting for a weird catastrophic event
america is a country with 52 governments running at the same time(50 states+federal+dc)
@thomas grabkowski America is a company with few share holders and a Mercs
@thomas grabkowski You forgot the 5 territories of the US who each have their own territorial government.
70,000 cases almost 10,000 deaths only 17,000 recovery
Social distancing and washing your hands often is only things that helps. If you have any symptoms, stay at home. If you’re elderly or in a risk group, be extra careful. Lockdown only hurts economies and leads to depression, suicide, domestic violence etc.
You can understand Belgians, weather is so miserable most of the year, whenever temperature goes above 10 or sun shines, it is literally impossible to keep Belgians indoor. Masks however should really be mandatory, belgians when pushed will do the right thing. Sad to see the highest mortality rate in Europe didn’t leave a mark on people’s mind.
belgien is beautiful i was there 3 times amazing country i love belgien
Mmh…..Belgium assassinated millions of Congolese people and maimed & killed children for not achieving the daily task of mining.
