Protests have been held in some cities in Afghanistan against the Taliban’s decision to ban women from universities.
Demonstrators have in Jalalabad and Kabul, pledged solidarity with female students.
Girls have already been banned from middle school and high school.
Some analysts say the latest government order points to a clear divide in the Taliban.

I might be wrong. But as far i can remember, taliban promised that their will be different things for women not like before, they will be more democration / open about women including in education.

I still regretted the previous afghanistan govt was lacked in diffended their country. Then they need to ensure that they have appropriate infrastructure in place to ensure that the sexes do not mix.
And then if they have enough funds to be able to facilitate women’s university education, then they can remove the ban.
Remember, Islam does not give women a right to “university” education. However, it does mandate that both men and women are educated in the basics of sharia and Islam. Maybe that is something that these women need to focus on first while the ban is in place.

Taliban minister of higher education is against all forms of female education, so yeah those schools are also likely closed. Same with educational centers
America and NATO dropped bomps ar primary schools since 2007. When primary schools existed for girls, NATO said it was extreme to have girls being taught in segregated Islamic schools.
So they didn’t want education that was being given.. Just the education that the west say is acceptable.
