Fighting between the Sudanese army and a paramilitary group called the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has continued despite the declared extension of a ceasefire, as a senior United Nations official arrived in the country for talks on providing relief to millions of trapped civilians.
The visit by top UN humanitarian official Martin Griffiths on Wednesday comes a day after neighbouring South Sudan announced that the warring sides had agreed “in principle” to a seven-day ceasefire.

If those claiming international enters in Sudan, the situation should be like Yemen and Syria plus Libya. The solution should be IGAD level and not UN level. Be careful and do hope South Sudan Salvakir will succeed.

Common sense should have told them that if you raise a PARALELL ARMY in a country, it would be difficult to control it or disarm it or integrate it in future. RSF, Gen Dagalo willfully signed on to this premeditated, orchestrated and organized his forces illegal and criminal seizures in the heart city. Under sieges his goal aimed at failed misguided military coup d’etat. RSF, needs to pull all it’s forces out of the capital city relocate into camp basis.
