Pakistan: Imran Khan supporters celebrate after court grants bail

The Islamabad high court has granted former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan two weeks’ bail on corruption charges.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled his arrest this week was unlawful.
Khan’s arrest led to mass protests, resulting in at least eight deaths.
Imran Khan is blaming the head of Pakistan’s powerful army for his arrest, which sparked mass protests, violence and looting.
The government says the judiciary’s preferential treatment of Khan means the death of justice in Pakistan.
Jubilant Imran Khan supporters erupted into song and dance after the court order.

Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid reports from the capital Islamabad.
