In the last few hours, Israel has intensified its shelling on the eastern side of Gaza City. Reports have emerged this morning of Israeli tanks attempting to move deeper into Gaza City, indicating a significant Israeli determination to cross from the east to the west of Gaza City in an effort to gain control of the coastal line. Despite the slow pace of their advance, they faced strong resistance from Palestinian fighters. Palestinian groups assert that they anticipated this move and have successfully destroyed several Israeli tanks. Unfortunately, civilians in Gaza City are currently unable to find a safe route to leave, as those who have attempted to head south have become targets for Israeli forces.
