The United States has deployed two aircraft carriers and fighter jets to the Middle East during Israel’s war on Gaza.
It is reportedly moving more warships from the Arabian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden to deter Houthi attacks on the Red Sea.
US military aid has allowed Israel to continue its wholesale destruction of Gaza unhindered, ensuring that Hamas’s allies are suitably intimidated and deterred from taking any military action.

Africa has the least presence of US troops of any continent in the world , yet it is the weakest continent in the world… why?
1. Africa is very diverse and the borders are arbitrary drawn hence many ethnic groups are often in opposite sides of the border, this prevents nationalism which is why there are very few interstate conflicts in the region, so most African countries don’t see the need for US ‘protection’
2. An anti colonial sentiment still persists in the continent hence seeing white troops will not bode well with the local population.

And this is an important one ,dictators in Africa tend to base their support from ethnicity first ie the first step is to place their tribesmen into top positions in the military, these people then oppress the other ethnic groups which makes sponsoring coups very tricky since, majority of the army is tied in with the dictators dirty work and after the coup there will be most likely a civil war and ethnic violence…Africa has had many coups but very few are sponsored by external parties ,rather it’s internal factors that lead to this. This makes dictators less reliant on foreign support.
