Trade, immigration, drug trafficking, and cooperation on semiconductors were on the leaders’ agenda.

Even in countries where living conditions aren’t that good, the USA probably has a historical and current impact, negatively. Like many international companies. Like drowning Mexico in Cola.
Yeah… the USA isn’t that great. Also many in the USA cannot even afford insulin, the USA has over 30 million food insecure people in food deserts, which includes children, systematic discrimination and oppression of native cultures and languages instead of supporting them and supporting patenting vaccines so that less developed countries cannot produce them even if they have factories capable of doing so. And those are just a few examples.

The US is waging a “microchip war” against China, which is strange since China is the uncontested export leader of raw materials for chips. When you depend on someone for going on with production, you avoid boycotting him, in general.

The Mexican government needs to legalize and regulate drugs. Doing so will create jobs and reduce the crime that is plaguing Mexico. The United States has a drug problem, not Mexico, and they should address their own issues.
