China’s defence minister has issued a stark warning: foreign interference in Taiwan is ‘doomed to fail’.
Wei Fenghe’s address at the Shangri-La dialogue in Singapore focused on Beijing’s stance on Taiwan.
Tensions between China and the US are front and centre on the last day of the summit.
On Saturday the US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin accused Beijing of intimidation and aggression towards Taiwan.
China says the island’s reunification with the mainland is inevitable.

The US didn’t win the war against Vietnam. The Chinese “special military excercise” avant la lettre in Vietnam wasn’t exactly a great success either. But let’s say the Xi regime turns its agressive rhetoric into reality, let’s say their paratroopers and navy get the better of the Taiwanese in an incredibly fast way… What than ? Is the Western world supposed to say, oh well, congrats Xi, as if it was a soccer game ? Business as usal ? Come on…. Such a situation would only be the beginning of a long long battle, economic, political etc etc that would mean the end of the Xi regime in the end. The ETIM rebels would be armed by the CIA. Large scale boycot actions, whatever it takes. Don’t believe one minute China would enjoy very much such a potentional “victory”… It would be nothing but a pyrrhus victory. Believe me. It is true that Taiwan may be ethnically separate from the Chinese, politically too, but if Taiwan talks about the matter of democracy, they’re just puppets to the Elites as well. These government leaders. There’s no democracy in this age. Nothing about it, but the facade of it. The matter already has been settled. Those wealthy billionaires, megacorporation’s are wanting to own the whole planet, led by a bigger more insidious agenda, and the forces behind it that most will deny, call it a conspiracy theory, attack those who believe in it, what not. But it is the reality of the situation. This whole scenario that we see now is extremely Machiavellian. By being so supremely calculating, inhumanly logical and inhuman in itself, it has pitted both superpowers against each other, set the stages up. In fact the actual path to peace is the one you fear the most, by Taiwan giving it’s rule over to the CCP willingly. That in itself WILL avert war. Straight up, with the exception of “land war in Asia”, China will get WRECKED in a conflict. They will hide their submarines and aircraft carriers and move their fighters to safe places. If they dont, their subs and aircraft carriers (lol) will be on the bottom inside of a week and once all of their air defense is gone, and it will be gone, then those fighters all get removed from the playing field one way or the other. Probably more like 4 days.
