O am deeply diaspointed on South Africa. Back in the day when no one supported the liberation from apartheid Sweden was the only one to help and stand by the South Africans without any expectations of a payback ( like the Soviet Union). We were the only ones to support out of moral and solidarity.
Now when we are threatend by Russia( they call it technical military consequences) and when are using hubrid warfare against us, South Africa is on the side of Russia and their dictator. We had hoped that South Africa would develop into a sovereigb prosperous and democratic Nation. A lot of people here sacrisfied a lot for your sake without ever asking anything in return.
@@EG-gq1fn Not everyone. As a South African, I don’t like Put, never did. Our government is actually neutral in the conflict. We still do business (grains and foods, nothing dangrous) with all sides. The reality is that the situation is more complex than the media lets on. For example, they tend to leave out NATO’s involvement in starting the conflict to begin with. And the US tried to pressure us into condemning Russia by falsely claiming that we’ve been supplying wepons to them. To this day, they haven’t been able to prove or provide any little piece of information to back this up. However, our economy has suffered greatly due to this. It isn’t fair on us or Africa as a continent. Nonetheless, I wish you and everyone else threatened by Russia safety and peace. 🙏

Why is it Russia? There is no historical reason for that. Potemkin invaded the land in i the 18 th century. Before that it had belonged to the Ottoman empire for a much longer period.
