Flying car completes first inter-city flight in Slovakia

Engineers in Slovakia are hailing a new era of transport after a flying car completed its first inter-city flight. The “AirCar” completed a 35-minute journey on Monday. The dual-transportation vehicle uses wings that fold away in less than three minutes. US flight UA328 lands safely in Denver following engine failure

0 A passenger jet rained debris on the Denver suburbs, narrowly missing a home, after it suffered an engine failure shortly after takeoff on Saturday. The Honolulu-bound United Airlines Flight 328 made an emergency landing at Denver’s international airport when one of the Boeing 777-200 engines experienced trouble and caught fire. There were cheers of relief from passengers on the flight after a dramatic landing. Body parts, debris found at Siriwajaya Air plane crash site

0 Rescuers are looking for wreckage from an Indonesian passenger plane believed to have crashed into the sea minutes after takeoff from the capital, Jakarta. A total of 62 people are feared dead. Rescue ships have been dispatched to the Thousand Islands chain, which is just north of Jakarta where authorities believe they have found debris of the plane. Australia’s Qantas decommissions last Boeing 747 after 50 years

In Australia, half a century of aviation history has ended at Qantas Airways, with the early retirement of its final Boeing 747. It is the latest airline casualty of the coronavirus pandemic, which has devastated the industry globally, forcing many airlines to decommission part or parts of their fleet, and cut staff.
