I am a Myanmar Citizen who lived in a country , Innocent lives are being killed everyday by Military dictatorship . Yesterday , 14.March.2021 over 100 people are Killed brutally . Today , 15th March , Our internet are closed by dictatorship and we cant know anymore about killing protestor. When we are asleep, in midnight , they threatened with gunfire and annoyed our sleeping time with military sound bomb.The people who have responsibilities for our safe , Military goverment , are killing every time reasonless every day and every night.They are genocide.

To those concerned, please check the facts first before inserting the Rohingya crisis in this issue or making karma comments.
The Tatmadaw (military) has ruled since the 1960s when Gen. Ne Win took power by coup. Their junta was dissolved in 2011 but the Tatmadaw secured themselves by having 1/4 of the seats in parliament and by owning local businesses, corporations and holdings for international trading. Some of their businesses include cigarettes, beers, tourism, telecoms, real estate, banking. They get at least $450M/yr from foreign oil companies operating in the country. The coup leader Min Aung Hlaing’s 2 adult children own 6 corporations, 1 of which is a construction company and 1 is a high class restaurant. The US sanctioned and froze the Tatmadaw account of $1B (which earns $4M a year from interest) which they attempted to move days after launching the coup.
Hlaing was supposed to retire in 2016 but he extended his term for 5 years more. Because he knows the ruling opposition party, NLD, has very strong support from the people, he will never win the election. The NLD has always won the election by a landslide of 82- 86%
He had to launch a coup to stay in power, destroy the NLD to eliminate opposition and pro-democracy movement by charging Aung San Suu Kyi and Win Myint with election fraud and other unfounded and absurd charges. He is reverting the country to the old authoritarian system to stay in power for as long as he likes.
Myanmar only enjoyed their semi-democracy for only 10 years which began in 2011. Thus, it was a nascent one.
I know a deal about the history of the Rohingya and why they came to Burma from India and Bangladesh in 1824, why they ended up stateless and why they were expelled from Burma. Burmese people are being blamed but nobody focuses now on (1) the Tatmadaw for the atrocities against the Rohingya (which Aung San Suu Kyi took all the bullets from the world to protect their fragile democracy which they worked very hard on at great risk since the 1980s) who also committed atrocities against the different Burmese ethnic groups for decades, (2) nor Imperial Britain for abandoning the Rohingya in Burma after WW2 without fulfilling their promise of giving the Arakan (Rakhine) state to the Rohingya (3) nobody blames the Rohingya for failing to secure a legal title to Arakan who served and enjoyed the favor of Imperial Britain for their loyalty for 120 years, (4) nobody knows about how both master and servant treated the Burmese people as lowest class in their own land from 1824 up to their independence in 1948
Please. Karma comments do not help because despite the complex history only Myanmar and Bangladesh can put an end to the statelessness of the 750,000 Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, 600,000 who are still in Rakhine, and tens of thousands spread around the world. Many Rohingyas who sought refuge or braved the seas to escape to other countries are being repatriated to Myanmar. Even in small numbers, this continues to happen up to this time. If you want to help, make a comment that will promote reconciliation between the Burmese people and the Rohingya
