One of Myanmar’s rebel groups has attacked a military outpost near the Thai border, in some of the heaviest fighting since the coup on February 1st.
This is happening as the protest movement continues across the country.

“Ethnic army” including the Karens funded/trained by US/UK.
@Mulahsa K’paw
Peace be unto you…
I copied from the official website of the US State Department and I provided the information to use for anyone to search the Internet on their own…
It is quite a logical assessment that the US and British Governments would take advantage of the situation in Burma/Myanmar and support “rebel” factions within the region to support their own Foreign Policy agendas…
The Karen tribe is just a tool for the US and British Governments and like what happened in Syria and Libya or Somalia, etc; unfortunately this could be the fate for the Karen tribe and others who have been incited to fight against the current leadership of Myanmar…
Yet, it is likely that the situation will turn out like Lebanon and Iraq with a revolving leadership and no stability, for which, will continue to exist like it has been since 1949, but the US and British Governments will intervene to continue to control the region in competition with Chinese Government…
Go to the Internet search engine to find
US State Department Statements of Interest Requests for Proposals and Notices of Funding Opportunity-DRL-FY20 Burma Democracy and Human Rights Program…
And…
US State Department
Statements of Interest Requests for Proposals and Notices of Funding Opportunities-DRL Strengthening Democracy and Human Rights in Thailand…
Once you see the dates of these programs just match them with the dates of the historical events, yet, going back to 1949 will not be easy to find any information, but there is a possibility to still find suspicious activity surrounding the region and American and British Governments involvements in clandestine activities…

*The Indian variant virus broke out in neighboring countries. Myanmar is busy fighting and has not conducted tests and inspections at all.There is no doubt that Indian variants are exported to Myanmar. Myanmar has been protesting on the streets, and no one has been tested and screened. The border between China and Myanmar is very long, and many people used to smuggle. In order to prevent illegal immigration, the Yunnan Provincial Government is busy pulling barbed wire and building a separation wall. The Chinese government has sent a medical team into the Wa state!*
*The northern part of Myanmar is all Chinese. China has 56 ethnic groups, The main Chinese armed forces in northern Myanmar:*
Kokang (Chinese ethnic Han)、Wa State (Chinese ethnic Wa)、Kachin (Chinese ethnic Jingpo)、Mongla (Chinese ethnic Dai), Their culture is similar to that of China, and their common wish is to join China and seek protection from China.
The most powerful ethnic minority armed force in Myanmar is the Wa state, They have missiles, but China hopes that the Wa state will develop its economy, so the Wa state has always been at peace. As for the source of the missile, I don’t know…
The headquarters of the Kachin State Army is 100 meters away from the Chinese Customs. Once pursued by the Burmese government forces, they put down their guns and broke into the Chinese customs. The Chinese border guards pretended to ignore it.
*Ethnic Karen are the same race as the Thais, Rohingya are the same race as Bangladesh. But Thailand and Bangladesh are weak, even if the Karen and Rohingya are independent, they will be annexed by the Bamar junta.*
@金英文四世 Karen and Thai are completely different. And northern Myanmar will never be China.
@Sakinah Hur please let me know your social media accs or may be email
it bad to see civil war no matter where it happens
Its bad…we have no choice…its actually UN’s duty to protect…but u know how useless is un
There’s always a Karen.👁👀
@Mikey lances I know . He was referring to the US Karen’s who always complain at the drop of a hat. I doubt he was trying to insult any ethnic.
@Damien Dehorn someone understood👍
This could turn into a Vietnam War
How?
@Sakinah Hur If you look at the investment number you will see that chinese money are actually on decline percentagely in myanmar since the last election most of the China BRI program in there have been canceled or postponed indefinitely for a few years now since the elected government come into power until a coupe recently that seem like china trying to reassert their influence mainly because the Junta can’t really lean on the west but other than china we also see they trying to snuggle up to Russia as well probably to balanced Chinese influence.
So I don’t think CIA have anything to do with the current situation or very minimally.
@スフィアマスター

Reading further into the history of this region only provides more credibility to my assessment…

“The Thai government historically used Karen State as a buffer zone against the Burmese.
After the Second World War the Thai were afraid of a communist insurgency developing from a union between Thai and Burmese communists, supported by China.
Thus the Thai and US government supported Karen rebellions through the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
The US government however also supported the Burmese government to fight communists.
The US government provided weapons and American produced helicopters.
The KNU has claimed that these weapons have been used against them.”
*My Own Commentary*
As we can see how the American Government plays the “Art of War” tactics…
Playing one side against another to incite unrest in the region of interest…
Why would the Chinese Government be involved in the incitement of ethnic groups to rise up against the Myanmar military government faction?
This does not benefit their cause nor increase their prospects on the BRI…
The information, evidences against Aung Su and associates are credible since it was part of the “package” that came with these “programs” of the US State Department to influence the leadership and to incite this current situation that we are seeing within the UN; create the problems to invoke rights for sanctions to weaken opponents is a most excellent modern tactic from ancient war manuals…
This only provides more clarity upon this US State Department “programs” of the fantastical “human rights and democracy” facade in different regions around the world, for which, we are in Burma/Myanmar and Thailand, Southeast Asia…

@Sakinah Hur Chinese government do back The chinese ethnic group up to the northern part of Myanmar. the area is effectively run by Chinese ethnic group except on paper only but the Myanmar government have been cracking down on them in recent years as well. And I didn’t said that they back the Karen.
China’s backing the Junta government that’s why UN will never be able to do anything.
It’s time to clean up and overthrown those who did the dirty coup that against the will of Myanmar people.
God bless KNU/KNLA
The military just needs to find proof that the rebels are supported by another country and lockdown the country and get those guns real hot💀
well, in Yemen rebels are fighting a Saudi Arabian and its allies and they’re a winning, everyone knows that one important key to win a battle is the will …when you’re fighting a group that has nothing to lose and plenty to win you’ll have to fight hard in order to overcome their will.
Also they have been doing that you dolt but they failed because why would the ethnic armies willingly give up thier arms?
Myanmar’s civil war…
Finally a war in 2021 yesssss
Turning into another Sirya

“The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that support civil society to strengthen democracy and the protection of human rights in Thailand.
Thailand’s return to elected government following the 2019 general election provided an opportunity for Thai citizens, including seven million first-time voters, to participate in the political process and seek further reforms to strengthen Thailand’s democratic institutions, the rule of law, and human rights. Differing views and reform priorities, in addition to a highly polarized political environment, have challenged the ability of Thai citizens, civil society, and political parties to define and form consensus on priority legislative and policy reforms. Moreover, an array of challenges restricting civic space and freedoms of expression, association, and peaceful assembly have limited the ability of civil society, the media, and grassroots communities and actors to effectively participate at a local and national level in the political process and engage with broader Thai society on priority reforms to strengthen democracy and human rights.
These challenges highlight the need to promote inclusive, consensus-building processes to foster national dialogue in Thailand on such issues as government accountability and the protection of human rights, as well as the need to expand civic space and strengthen protections for emerging voices within civil society and the general Thai public to ensure broad-based participation in determining, defining, and negotiating legislative and policy reforms.
DRL’s goal is to strengthen democracy and the protection of human rights in Thailand to foster a stronger, more stable Thailand and U.S.-Thai relationship.
DRL seeks proposals to support civil-society led efforts to expand civic space and political participation and dialogue to promote democracy and the protection of human rights.
Proposals should seek to achieve the following objectives:
Promote inclusive, consensus-building processes to foster national dialogue on legislative, policy, and other reforms advancing democracy and human rights;
Increase civic participation in the political process and opportunities to shape policy with political leaders to promote democratic institutions responsive and accountable to citizens; and
Expand civic space and protections for civil society to effectively promote democratic reform and the protection of human rights.
A competitive applicant will prioritize working with a variety of civic actors and fostering linkages between civil society advocates in Bangkok and peripheral areas of the country to achieve the above-mentioned objectives.
Illustrative activities may include:
Building civil society capacity on strategic planning, advocacy, facilitation and consensus-building dialogue to determine, define, and advance legislative, policy, and reforms strengthening democracy and the protection of human rights;
Supporting the development of effective and sustainable strategies for engaging with local communities and government to foster support for legal and policy reforms strengthening democracy and the protection of human rights;
Fostering coalition-building and collaboration among civil society, legal advocates, religious leaders, and other civic actors to build consensus and joint action to advance human rights and democratic reform;
Improving civil society watchdog and oversight functions to advance accountable and transparent government, including through the use of data and technology to improve access to government information and enable more data-driven policy dialogue;
Empowering civil society to utilize existing laws to advance human rights and transparent and accountable government;
Strengthening the resilience and security of civil society and other civic actors promoting human rights and democratic reforms, including through targeted physical safety and digital security support; and
Support for media organizations to advance more effective data-driven reporting and journalism to better inform reform dialogue and improve the quality of outcomes.
A competitive applicant will demonstrate substantial understanding of the shifting opportunities and challenges to strengthen democratic institutions and human rights in Thailand, and demonstrate flexibility by discussing how proposed activities could adapt to changing political conditions. Projects should prioritize work with a variety of actors as part of any program activities and leadership opportunities, including religious and community leaders, emerging civic leaders, women, marginalized and underserved communities, media, political parties and members of parliament, and local authorities, as appropriate.
DRL seeks a program approach that prioritizes opportunities for sub-grants and other methods of support to address needs identified by local beneficiaries.
If already working in Thailand, applicants should address how their proposal application complements or expands upon existing work.”

Remeber how people of Burma and Aung Su Ki were supporting their “brave Soldiers” along with the monks when they were butchering, raping, and burning Rohingyas.
Why is it that wherever something happens in the global south they always bring in westerners to explain the situation why isnt al jazeera bringing in experts from Myanmar
That’s the point of an independent view… they don’t have a stake in the outcome so there’s no bias. Racist much?
@The bearded guyfor people who basically invented racism westerners sure do love calling others racists also dont be naive just because hes not from Myanmar doesnt mean hes independent furthermore the reason why i prefer an expert from Myanmar is because an expert that was born and bred in Myanmar will obviously give a better analysis of what’s happening than some foreigner
@njabulo lethukthula also.. your ignorant if you think westerners invented racism… racism was invented in the Talmud… look it up. Learn something new.
That is what they need a army to free the country
Show the junta how ‘Evil’ feels when applied to self!
For God’s sake if any of the international communities say any bullshit to the KNU,and coming Federal army,I will tell to go f theirselves. In order to prevent illegal immigration, the Yunnan Provincial Government is busy pulling barbed wire and building a separation wall. The Chinese government has sent a medical team into the Wa state!
So pity for people of Myanmar
The western deep state controls all the mainstream medias. Don’t trust their half-truth reports.
Since the junta are too busy in displacing tribal minority in the country starting from the Rohingya and to another one and now that cruelty of the junta are slowly coming back to hunt them down. This is something that will never stop unless all of them will suffer the same thing of what they have done to the innocent civilian. Pray for the good people in Myanmar.
Burmese army is set up camp in Karen land, that not fair they live in their an murder villager and kill villager, Before knla clean up their camp KNLA already tell them to go back in their land, but they not listening and KNLA clean up
Dear all,
Please stand with Myanmar people… We don’t like dictatorship.
US should arms all these rebels just as they armed Taliban and ISIS.
UN and ASEAN failed the families of those who have been murdered by the evil military. When you are cornered you fight back
KNU and all armed ethnic federalists of the CRPH: Do not forget to continue bombarding US, EU, ASEAN, CCP, and Russian headquarters with communiques to recognize legitimacy of government-in-exile in effort to reach negotiated solution— in addition to bombarding Tatmadaw headquarters with mortar rounds.
Ho Chi Minh only finally called for the ‘Tet-Offensive’ when his efforts to negotiate were rejected and was left with no choice.
Failed State. 70 years of wasted years
The US should provide the karens with weapons.
si vis pacem para bellum
Call rohinga resistance join them and defeat the coup
I see this spiraling into Balkanization, until one group finds a way to unify Myanmar once more.
Yeah probably many more repel factions will spring to life in the coming months
UN / US / UK/ EURO / CRPH/NUG ALL INTERNATIONAL COUNTY. IF YOU CAN’T DO NO FLY ZONE IN KAREN STATE MYANMAR.PLEASE HELP US AIRCRAFT WEPON AND SAFE MYANMAR CIVILIAN. PLEASE, BUT WE DON’T NEED NO CHINA, NO RUSIA SUPPORTING

Bhag chutiya aata Pata kuch hai nahi
How can we get funds to the rebels 👌
Free Burma ranger non profit organization
If y’all wonder who supplies arms to these Karen troops, it’s no one really. They spend their own earnings to buy used weapons from Vietnam/Cambodia. Like the m16 by the US during Vietnam war is used because they bought it from Vietnam. Hopefully others join this fight for democracy and support the cause!
Not need your comment, act to stop junta now
屑ポンコツ反社会的ミャンマーです。
Rambo?
Karen will get the anti aircraft missiles to fight against the military aircrafts. It won’t be long.

China get out from Myanmar and stop stealing our natural resources
A civil war is on the way.
May God make drawn them in infinite civil war due to racism of both parties.
