The current rate of infection nationwide averages to 5.6% which puts the MAXIMUM possible positive tests India could report from 1M PCR tests in a 24 hour period at 300K. It is a mathematical impossibility that they’re able to report 414K positives.
It’s also complete nonsense that they have hospitals on the brink of collapse, funeral pires in the street but only 0.94% death rate for a virus with a 5% death rate.
