Doctors in Sri Lanka are warning of a critical shortage of life-saving drugs and medical supplies as the country faces a worsening economic crisis. The health ministry had instructed state hospitals to cut down on non-essential surgeries and medical procedures and minimise the use of products like syringes and gauze.

Shri Lanka is in dire need of help. Shri Lanka should sell teas to India and other countries to earn some foreign reserves. And rapidly diversify economy from tea selling and tourism based economy to service based and manufacturing based economy. Till then it should ask IMF and other countries for help.But remember that other countries can’t always help you. Shri Lankan need to stand up for themselves.
What is the WHO doing about this. Insyead of sending weapons to Ukraine they should try to send help to Sri Lanka.
