This comes as rights groups are calling on governments to boycott next year’s Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Secondly any Chinese Citizen is able to criticize the government and can do it directly by going to the relevant websites or WeChat channels to do so. The KPI of each department and each Government official has also been pegged to this response. That is one of the reason why China has developed so fast.
On the other hand there has been more anti-China reporting in China than any anti-USA reporting in the USA. The main reason is because most of these anti-China media has been funded by the NED and it’s associated organisations like RFA, NTD, ASPI, and so on.
