A leading Russian military blogger who supported the invasion of Ukraine has been killed in a bomb attack on a cafe in central St Petersburg.
Vladlen Tatarsky – whose real name was Maxim Fomin – was a member of a blogging group known as Cyber Front Z, which had hired out the cafe for an event. Witnesses say the bomb was hidden in a statuette he was presented with. 25 people were injured.

I believe she tried to stay away from the statue and not get close because I think she knew not just that It contained explosive but she also knew the approximate amount of damage the explosive can cause. If she didnt kknow the statue contained only low levels of explosives she would have been more stressed(she didnt want to sit but she hesitantly accepted) for being asked to sit down close to statue.
It seems like she knew she had a good chance of surviving if she stayed away in a short distance so she didnt refuse although it looks like she wanted to leave
