NATO member Poland says is sending 10,000 troops to its border with Belarus.
Tensions between Warsaw and Minsk – which is Russia’s ally – have been rising recently.
Poland says two Belarussian helicopters briefly entered its airspace, last week.
The government is also concerned about the border area since hundreds of Wagner mercenaries arrived in Belarus, as part of a deal that ended a mutiny in Russia in June.

I think it belongs to the picture that the Lukashenko regime lured poor Iraqis to Belarus and sent them to Poland as illegal refugees. They were stopped at the border and suffered some time in no-mans land. These humans were used as a weapon to destabilise Poland/EU. According to experience, Poland has to protect it’s border to Belarus.
Just remember, if Belarus attacks Poland, Russia isn’t apart of Belarus, just like Ukraine isn’t apart of NATO.
