The Taliban has welcomed the extension of the mandate of the UN mission in Afghanistan.
There’ve been massive aid cuts since they seized power in 2021.
Since then, millions of Afghans have been going hungry every day.
The UN says women and girls are the worst affected.
Urgent action is required to address the funding shortfall and ensure that the Afghan people receive the support they desperately need to survive this crisis.

when i was there in 2004 the only communities that really had a good life was the areas at the river. desert life is rough. i do miss afghanistan—people were so nice to me even though i was a invading force the army . i was 22 years old and had no clue what i was doing or why i was there . young and dumb as you would say .
