Indonesia says it has rightfully captured a Chinese fishing vessel in the South China Sea after it was caught fishing illegally in its waters. China had issued a protest with Indonesia after the vessel was captured and crew arrested last week. This is the second incident in the past three months causing a diplomatic row between the two countries. 0 China is demanding an investigation into what happened to one of its ships in Argentinian waters. Argentinian navy has said it shot and sunk a Chinese flagged ship that was fishing illegally in its waters. On a test track west of Tokyo, Japan’s Superconducting Maglev train hits 603km/h an hour, breaking the world train speed record. The test is part of an ambitious plan to build a $47bn high-speed line between Tokyo and Nagoya. If completed as planned in 2027 the 280km between the two could be travelled in around 40 minutes.
