Indonesia-China diplomatic row escalates over fishing rights

Indonesia says it has rightfully captured a Chinese fishing vessel in the South China Sea after it was caught fishing illegally in its waters. China had issued a protest with Indonesia after the vessel was captured and crew arrested last week. This is the second incident in the past three months causing a diplomatic row between the two countries. China demands probe into sinking of fishing boat by Argentina

0 China is demanding an investigation into what happened to one of its ships in Argentinian waters. Argentinian navy has said it shot and sunk a Chinese flagged ship that was fishing illegally in its waters. Four crew members were rescued and the others were picked up by another Chinese vessel shadowing the pursuit. Japan’s maglev train breaks world speed record

On a test track west of Tokyo, Japan’s Superconducting Maglev train hits 603km/h an hour, breaking the world train speed record. The test is part of an ambitious plan to build a $47bn high-speed line between Tokyo and Nagoya. If completed as planned in 2027 the 280km between the two could be travelled in around 40 minutes.
