‘Plotting our escape’: Lebanon braces for new emigration wave

Lebanon’s population is facing a deepening financial crisis that has made a dignified life difficult, pushing many – especially the young– risking everything to seek a way out in search of a better life.
Nearly 250,000 have escaped the economic crisis in recent years – and more people are risking more dangerous routes, to get out.
