The battles being fought in eastern Ukraine could determine the country’s fate, a defence ministry spokesman has said, as Russian forces were conducting an all-out assault to encircle Ukrainian troops in twin cities straddling the Siverskyi Donets River in eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defence Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanyk said Russian forces had not given up attempts to cross the river.

Case in point, my uncle is an Mi-24 helicopter 🚁 pilot for the Ukrainian Air Force, he doesn’t like Zelensky and he voted against Zelensky in the last election but when Russia invaded, he stayed in Ukraine to fight.
He (my uncle) currently has 48 confirmed Russian kills after carrying out Air strikes and strafing runs against Russian convoys in Southern Ukraine.
Even if Zelensky resigns, Ukrainians will keep fighting because we have no choice but to fight.
