Its appears to me Russia will only respond instantly to any impeding attack by Ukranian forces on Donbass. This scenario seems more likely to play out anytime soon now as the West have lately been actively beefing up Ukraine army with modern military equipment to counter Russian “invasion”. Russian military buildup is to deter any such attack taking place on Donbass where Russian citizens live.

Could the Ukrainian government please get a consistent narrative? In the last few days President Zelensky has said that Russia has conducted similar drills before and he is unconcerned about an invasion and that invasion speculation was damaging to Ukraine. Then the Ukrainian Defence Minister said an invasion was not imminent because the Russian forces have not formed battle groups. Now the Ukrainian Foreign Minister is talking about possible Russian invasion. Russia has not changed what it was doing so what is the basis for the change in the narrative?
