Taliban says Afghanistan ‘free nation’ as it hails US exit

The last US soldier has left Afghanistan.
And after 20 years of war, millions of Afghans are back under Taliban rule.
The group has hailed the moment as “full independence for the country”.
It says it is not a threat to anyone and insists it wants good relations with the US and the rest of the world.
