With foreign troops now out of Afghanistan, the Taliban is busy securing the international airport in Kabul.
The group is talking to Qatar and Turkey about helping to oversee the facility.
But the Taliban says it is dismayed that US troops disabled the planes and helicopters they left behind.
It says it wants to start a new chapter of better ties with the US and the international community.

The US have basically donated billions of dollars of vehicles and equipment to the Afghan National Army.
Unfortunately, the ANA, and most Afghans in general, are spineless. A single Taliban offensive and their entire nation fell apart. They should have held for at least a year. Unfortunately, the Afghan government and corrupt and most Afghan soldiers are weak-willed cowards.
When ANA bases fell, Afghan cowards decided to run away without destroying any of their equipment. Like how ISIS obtained American equipment from routed Iraqi soldiers. This is why most Taliban soldiers are surprised that the Americans destroyed their own equipment when they withdrew.
2,500 Americans died for Afghanistan and Afghans wasted their sacrifice. The US should block any money from America from entering Afghanistan. They should just let that country starve. They wanted the US to leave.
Remember, the reason for American withdrawal is so that the US doesn’t have to spend any more money funding a pointless conflict.
