Heavy fighting is continuing in Afghanistan’s southwestern province of Helmand between Taliban fighters and government troops.
Violence escalated on Sunday, despite continuing peace negotiations in Qatar that started more than a month ago.
More than 30,000 people have since fled to the provincial capital of Lashkar Gar.
Al Jazeera’s Charlotte Bellis reports.

Did he have advance knowledge that India was involved? How did he know? Check out the timing of these events and you will see that I am correct. I was in AFG for years. The country will never survive with a government like the Taliban is in charge. The country needs outside investment and that won’t happen with a Talibani government. If you think the Taliban is your future, AFG should simply join with Pakistan.
